The renovation is a bit dated, but the price reflects that. There is parking, although the space is very tight. You need to be quite good at manoeuvring to squeeze your car in. However, it is possible to park.

Mateja was a great host. The house is well equipped, two toilets, one bathroom. The kitchen was spacious to prepare meals and to enjoy them there. There is a beautiful back yard.

the parking space is only for two cars but tricky and chanlleging to park. We scratched our car trying to get out :( I’d recommend that during summer months, the room upstairs should have an air conditioner cause the heat in there turned almost unbearable.

I would recommend this accommodation to travelers who enjoy hostel-style places, especially because of the shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. While it wasn’t the most comfortable option for us personally, it did meet all the basic needs and functional overall.

Unfortunately, our experience at this accommodation was far from ideal. While the location might be convenient for some, there are several aspects that future guests should be aware of. Firstly, the property is located close to a church that rings its bells every 15 minutes from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM. This makes it very difficult to rest, especially if you’re a light sleeper or hoping for a peaceful morning. Cleanliness was a major issue during our stay. The room was not cleaned properly before our arrival — there were spiders and spiderwebs throughout, the furniture was dusty and dirty, and the floor had clearly not been swept or vacuumed, particularly under the bed. There were no curtains on the window, which also affected our privacy and comfort. The fan in the room appeared to be maintained very poorly, held up by a single screw. The blades were covered in a thick layer of dust, making it unusable without spreading allergens. Additionally, there was no mosquito net on the windows, so sleeping with an open window led to mosquito bites. The shared spaces were also poorly maintained. In the kitchen, the sponge was extremely worn out and emitted a bad odor. All dishes, glasses, and utensils had to be washed before use due to their dirty condition. The faucet at the sink didn’t function properly either. The shared bathroom was similarly disappointing. The shower curtain was dirty (likely never washed), and the shower area had visible limescale and mold. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so we had to open a window that led to what seemed like an attic or utility area — from which unpleasant odors entered the room, along with a view of insulation materials and construction debris. On a more positive note, parking was available, although the space is quite tight — it can accommodate two cars, but with limited maneuvering room. All in all, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance significantly affected our comfort during the stay.
