Blu Dea apartment & room

L’appartamento era al primo piano e quindi era molto fresco nonostante avesse un solo condizionatore per tre stanze più il bagno. La zona è molto silenziosa e il parcheggio su strada era sempre disponibile. La proprietaria è stata molto disponibile e ci ha fornito tutto quello che le abbiamo chiesto. E’ vicino alla spiaggia e al centro di Torre Lapillo ma la spiaggia libera è molto affollata. Abbiamo sempre dormito bene e siamo stati bene ma siamo andati al mare altrove. Aveva un bel frigorifero e una doccia comoda e grande.

L’appartamento era un po’ sfornito di alcune cose che di solito trovo ma la padrona di casa mi ha portato tutto ciò che le ho chiesto. Poiché affitta sia camere che appartamenti con cucina, nell’appartamento non sono previsti asciugamani e lenzuola. Non ha il forno ma a noi non serviva. Non ci sono detersivi a parte quello per i piatti che ho chiesto. Il bagno era situato all’interno di una delle due stanze da letto ma a noi non ha creato problemi, essendo in due. La piscina è svuotata, la foto non è recente. La stanno ristrutturando.

Non avevamo la colazione inclusa ma nelle vicinanze si trova di tutto

In generale tutto bene ma il centro del paese non offre un granché di divertimento per il dopo spiaggia

la pulizia, l’ampiezza degli spazi, il silenzio assoluto, la posizione ottimale a due passi dal mare, la disponibilità dell’host

The location and plenty of parking available

There was a smell of rotten eggs coming from the shower drain, so many ants on the floor, air conditioning was not on when we entered (fine to save electricity but the room was scolding hot) and it took us many hours to cool the room down. Keys were not explained upon arrival, we were expected to experiment and figure out which key was for which door. It was more keys than doors. There was also a misunderstanding about the check in time. We requested an early check in that was not accepted and, later, the night before our arrival, the host kindly offered us to take the room earlier and that she was going to allow us to check in at around midday. We had not seen these messages on Booking.com and we received a call from the host expressing frustration and expecting us to arrive promptly when we were in a completely different city. We tried our best to get there at the new time she gave us (2:30). Unable to meet this time due to our distance, we missed our opportunity to get into the room until 7:30. We arrived at around 3pm (a normal time for hotel check ins) but the host had left stating she had other things to do and that she lives very far. We went back to the place at the new time going to the exact address provided by booking.com, only to be told by the host that it was incorrect and giving us an obscure instructions to find the correct address (for example the picture of the view which was completely useless and stating “walk to the huge villa”). They were all huge. When we finally met her we felt very uncomfortable because of the way we were spoken to. The property has great potential, but unfortunately our overall experience was negatively affected by the communication and the way the check-in was handled.
