So peaceful and quiet with fantastic views. Very private, just the occasional dog walker passing by. Nice big and fully enclosed garden for the dog to run around in safely. Comfortable beds, spacious bedrooms and clean facilities. Kitchen was well stocked with all crockery, cutlery, cooking tools etc. A very nice touch in that the owners left some Welsh cake, a bottle of Prosecco and a toy for the dog. Due to it being August bank holiday weekend we decided to stay put as we figured that everywhere would be heaving with day trippers and holiday makers. This turned out to be the best call ever! All in all a lovely relaxing stay which is what we all needed.
The owner was a little disorganised when we arrived like he hadn't been expecting us or something as the 4 x 4 he was taking us across the beach in needed cleaning out so we could get our stuff in. When we rang at 9am on our last day for our 10am departure he was still in bed so had to arrange for someone else to come and collect us. Not really what you expect for a premium price of £550 per night accommodation.

Property absolutely faultless inside and out. Spotlessly clean. Lovely bedding and towels. All kitchen equipment you could need and all spotless. Loved the fact they had a full set of garden dinnerware. Bbq outside. Handy hose for washing down wellies or dogs.
House warm and cosy and very spacious.
Lots of thoughtful touches like a basket of blankets to keep warm, games for children, welcome hamper on arrival.
Owner checked on us during week to make sure everything was ok. Very quiet location and would be stunning in summer.
Unfortunately the beach is narrow and becomes very muddy/quick sand so not ideal for children to play on.
If you don’t have a 4x4 to get to the property, you have to walk up two steep hills in woodland with deep steps and across a large hilled field. Anyone with physical disability or needing to use a buggy would not manage this. The area is not lit at night so if you have to walk back from the car is can be a little scary and slippery on the paths getting back to the house.
Note: the owner was extremely helpful in transporting all our luggage in his 4x4 to the house on arrival/departure.

The location is fantastic! Very near Bangor center but secluded and quiet for your own privacy. Very nice finish inside the house, loved every minute.
Having to think about the tides to access with the car, however, the tide schedule at the house made it very easy to follow and plan. Plus you can park nearby and walk down a clear path to the house if you are worried about it.

Exceptional welcome to the property, met by a super lovely lady from the pub who drove with us down to the property and showed us around whilst my parents had a drink in the lovely Tafarn y Garth. Stunning location, couldn’t ask for better views and perfect house/gardens to enjoy them in. Made good use of the fire pit and BBQ watching the northern lights! Super comfy beds and perfect amenities. Welcome pack/bubbles was a lovely surprise too! Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back again soon!
Minor issue - lack of hand towels in bathrooms. Could also benefit from some comfort seating in the garden other than the picnic benches.

Amazing location, loved waking up to that view each morning
Be nice if potholes were filled, but little to fault!

Everything - great property, location, facilities and service. Great and generous host who left plenty of complementary food and drinks as per group size.
Nothing regarding the property, just the location is such that the access with vehicle is via a beach and subject to low tide (hence had to plan entry, exit and going around accordingly).

We loved how peaceful and comfortable the house was. The garden was amazing for our little dog and the host kindly arranged for some Prosecco and bread to be available for us in the kitchen. Such a thoughtful gesture!
The only thing was that there were no toiletries ( Shower gel / Shampoo). Having such a wonderfully prepared house, not having some shower gel felt a bit odd, but all in all it was a great experience.

Location was exciting, especially as we were on motorbikes. We met the host near the site who then took us to the house as it was an unusual route so that was really good of them. Ever so friendly and helpful and kept in touch throughout the weekend to make sure everything was green. Offered a free round of drinks at the local pub they owned and also left two bottles of wine at the house with bread, milk etc as complimentary. I have been to a lot of places and it does not get better than this. Place was super warm and cosy, kids will love it, we didn't take ours this time, it was quiet, beds were lovely and we got told to leave it tidy and stuff in the dish washer and they were happy with that. So were we. Thank you again and will def be back with family.
Nothing, all great.
