The apartment was clean modern and well located to all amenities 👍

The location of the property is excellent. Close to all the shops, cafes and bars. The train station and taxi rank is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is on the 1st floor opposite another apartment and below another directly above you. You have access to good WIFI and a selection of on demand channels. There is a book selection and small umbrella to use and even a washing machine. Heating is good and you need to use the air con for it but it works.

The kitchen area is not the best. The fridge freezer was dirty and over iced as it was not frost free, it is an old appliance which stands away from the sink and there is no oven in the kitchen area. The selection of cutlery is appalling. Why is there no salad bowl? Why are the draws just messy. I had to wash the plates and glasses, cutlery again after buying a sponge as the one left was old and tatty. The toaster was full of crumbs and the cupboard which had the remains of past occupants was filthy. Salt and Pepper shakers had dried and rusted, the items were old and discarded and the teabags in the cupboard were ancient. Tea towels were supplied but tiny and nowhere to dry. All the so called lights which ran on batteries to create ambience did not work as they were flat. The awful stench of drains was something that you had to live with after every shower which also made me wonder why air fresher spray had been left. The shower cubicle is tiny. I am 6foot 4inches and had to squeeze myself in. Once inside be prepared to have a good soaking of the shower floor as there is no shower door. The shower matt is a waste of time as this gets soaked and takes days to dry. Worth telling other people about to stay here the water is a small tank in the drying area and runs out of water pretty quickly. I would shower quickly as my wife would need to wash also. Towels were supplied for the week and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Toiletries were just refilled left over pumps and the washing machine area was a useless drying zone. The noise from the neighbours next door was appalling. Yes we all love to have moments of love making but when you are awoken to the sound of giggling, loud talking and heavy sexual noises it is off putting in the middle of the night, especially when they turn the light on in their bedroom shinning light into our room, with our curtains closed. The flat above us kept moving chairs and furniture around with no consideration to anyone below all hours of the day.
