Absolutely perfect location in Split. Outside your door (and down a small alley away from the noise) is the cutest area with restaurants and a few markets. The apartment could be tight in a few ways for 2 people but for me it was the perfect setup. Ivanka is so friendly and she had apples and orange juice for my arrival, which was so kind.
Unfortunately the mattress was sinking down in the middle quite a bit, almost so much I was at an angle, so I had a hard time sleeping. Lumpy hard pillow but could be a simple replacement. There were a few small things in the apartment that need addressing like the front door handle is quite loose (almost worried I’d get locked out sometimes), and other loose handles etc around the apartment. I thought for the price it just needs more attention to care and could use some replacements of bedding to make it more comfortable, as it didn’t quite meet the “cute” feeling given in the pictures.

De gastvrouw Ivanka was heel sympathiek. Ze woont zelf ook op het adres en nodigde me uit voor een drankje ‘s avonds. Hoewel in een druk toeritsch gebied ligt het huis aan een heel rustig straatje. Ik kon de fiets kwijt op het binnenplaatsje. Ivanka heeft het apartement leuk ingericht en de buitenruimte staat vol met planten. Knus is het juiste woord. Het apartement is niet al te groot maar voorzien van alle gemakken.
Zoals ik zei, knus. Voor iemand zoals ik, 1.92m was het soms wat klein bijvoorbeeld paste ik maar net in de toiletruimte

Great location, short walk to the Riva & old city & theres some resturants & a supermarket nearby. Was able to walk from the airport bus drop off.
Good working aircon & communication with host. There's a washing machine.
Shower put water everywhere. Internal & external doors are frosted but could tell when someone was entering/leaving the other apartment as there was a motion lights.
Expensive for what it is but there was limited available for when I stayed.
