Wonderful, homely stay. Clean, charming accom with stunning views and host was super accomodating.

The views around the property, it sits within a really beautiful valley surrounded by hills. The property had a lot of charm and character, and felt very homely. Our host was very accomodating and helpfully suggested different walks local to us each day. The property is well located to venture further into the dolomites by car and there's a handful are different walks suitable for various abilities very close to the property, within the same valley. Even the drive to the property was great, just over an hour from Venice.

Perfect quiet place. Very nice house. Well equipped apartment. Elisa is very nice and helpful person. She is able to recommend you a lot of trails for hiking in the mountains and special restaurant with strange waiter too. :)

idyllic, not so touristy stay with the most wonderful host in the world!

We loved Gioz87! The location was incredible, with wonderful sweeping views of the dolomites everywhere around the house. The house is also adorable, with a wonderful garden and adorable patio to sit on and appreciate the view. The room was very comfortable, thoughtfully furnished and decorated, with a lovely view from the window as well. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous, smelled wonderful, and had such adorable decorations! The soaps were also a plus, we were above and beyond impressed by everything, and can't recommend it enough. However, the biggest benefit to the stay was the host! She is such an amazing, kind, generous person who made great conversation with us, gave us great detailed recommendations, and went so far out of her way to help us get to trailheads and travel from the train station. She so graciously opens her heart and her home, and made our stay absolutely magical. We absolutely will be returning, and would highly recommend anyone to stay here! The property is also surrounded by wonderful nature and hiking that is a little further from the really crowded touristy areas; our host recommended the most beautiful hike to a refugio with delicious pasta, and we had the best stay. She even asked a friend to send us some recommendations for the next city we were visiting :)

A stunning and homely place to stay with great hiking nearby

A beautiful small town area to stay. A nice clean room with a very nice private bathroom. The outdoor setting is a great place to relax. Elisa is very kind and attentive. A refreshing homely feeling for solo travelling. Great location for those wanting to hike in the nearby Dolomiti Bellunesi. Mont Schiara is accessible by foot directly from the property if you do not have a car. The local village areas are also worth exploring.

A little difficult to access without a car, but definitely worth making the effort. Also be aware that currently you will not have access to the kitchen, but there is a private guest fridge and free tea and coffee provided.

The location is ideal, just on the edge of a town but in a quiet area. The view from the garden is outstanding and a great place to hang out and read. With a car, it was easy to explore all areas of the Dolomites. Elisa, who runs the place, is super kind and helpful, providing suggestions and sharing the common spaces of the house. Extremely good value for money, especially considering the high prices during peak season in the mountains!

Very Sympathetic guesthouse with beautiful hiking possibilites nearby

Really nice guesthouse in the southern Dolomites, which serves as a good starting for some beautiful hikes in the surroundings and which is conveniently accessible from e.g. venice. Host Elisa is super friendly, helpful and engaged in showing and recommending you spots in the surroundings in order to make your stay as nice as possible. Probably one the most sympathetic and authentic stays I had until now.

La struttura era grande e accogliente, una classica casa di montagna con tutto il necessario. Facile da raggiungere, perché dista solo 10 minuti da Belluno, e un ottimo punto di partenza per passeggiate in montagna. La struttura dispone di un ampio spazio esterno nel caso di bella stagione. La signora é stata gentilissima e disponibilissima.
