Casa da Agua is a modern 3 double bedroom luxury villa with 2 en suites and 1 family shower room, particularly suitable for families.
When not being used for holidaymakers this is our main home and so is furnished & equipped to a high standard with everything you could need for an exceptional holiday.
The villa is on a small well maintained condominium next to a 9 hole golf course. There is a shared swimming pool and children's pool in a beautiful setting with panoramic views of the ocean with artificial grassed sunbathing area and sun loungers for hire.
A tennis club with 4 tennis courts is a 5 minute walk from the villa. The tennis club also houses a gym and various classes such as Pilates and yoga are available there. In the same area is a mini market for day to day provisions, cafe and a cash machine. Larger supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away.
There is also the well renowned Carvoeiro Tennis Club which also has a fully equipped gym with trainers and many keep fit activities such as yoga, Zumba etc. If you sign up to any activities you are able to use the club's swimming pools.
There are several restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as is the nearest beach of Centianes. The beach is a 20 minute walk and has a good bar/cafe/restaurant. The main town of Carvoeiro is a 5 minute drive or 30 - 40 minute walk where can be found many more restaurants & bars plus independent boutiques, beauty salons, nail bars & even a fish spa. There are several mini markets, a daily fresh produce market selling the freshest fish, meat, fruit & vegetables. Several bakeries, a post office & pharmacy can also be found.
Carvoeiro is a very popular and sought after destination in the Algarve. It has not been spoilt by high rise development and still retains the charm of a small fishing village with a pretty beach and many restaurants and bars to choose from as well as small independent shops. There is plenty of night life & lots of activities going on during the summer months.
Our villa has many brochures & leaflets with details of what there is to see & do in the locality.
The kitchen was renovated in 2018 & is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, American fridge freezer with water & automatic ice dispenser, oven, combination microwave/grill/oven & new in 2023 a 4 ring induction hob. There is a wide selection of cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery & glasses. A charcoal barbecue is provided & outside dining furniture & loungers on the ground floor terrace & further outside sofa & armchairs on the roof terrace. Also provided is an insulated picnic box & ice packs, beach equipment - buckets & spades, beach mats, beach umbrellas, beach games etc.
As well as the 9 hole golf course nearby, there are several beautiful 18 hole golf courses a short drive away & many more further along the Algarve.
There are many beautiful beaches only a short drive away, but for those who don't want to use a car, everything you need is within walking distance of the villa.

My family and I really liked the house, the privacy and the peace and quiet in the area around the house.
About my evaluations I only have the following to say:
The advertisement mentions 4 rooms, but only 3 are available...because the other one is closed.
As for communication with the accommodation manager, it was almost zero, without even trying to find out if everything was ok, but I consider that Mrs. Sue has no responsibility for this.In fact, I found Mrs Sue to be very friendly and concerned about my well-being, which I appreciate.
I hope I have the opportunity to return.

Lovely property with plenty of space. Handy sun loungers at villa which were very useful for sunbathing as you did have to pay to use any sunloungers around the pool, so only really used the pool for a cooling swim. A few restaurants in the area including on the way back from the beach.

The property is located in the nicest area of Algarve. It was super clean and corresponded to the pics and description. No problem encountered at arrival or during the stay.

We have just arrived back from a two week stay in this lovely villa. It was very spacious and easily accommodated our party of 7. There is a well equipped kitchen and WiFi throughout the villa. Contact with the owners was always prompt and informative. The pool is a 5 min walk from the villa with plenty of sun beds or a grassed area on which to sun bathe. The nearby beaches are stunning - our kids enjoyed jumping the high waves. The walk into Carvoeiro is about 30 mins mostly downbank and the taxis are plentiful for the ride home at about €6. If we were to holiday in Carvoeiro again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here
