Beautiful home with wonderful finished lower floor accommodations. Host was very kind and helpful. Location is a little tricky, but the detailed instructions were helpful.

Pretty much everything - friendly host, 1.5 hours driving to Saint Louis, ample space to stay, and it has a pool billiards! I liked the time staying here.
Nothing - oh, the bed squeaked a little bit but that's ok.

Lots of room! Plenty of seating choices, very clean.
Bar/Kitchen area pretty small, but had all necessary components. A little hard to find the driveway, but not if you follow the hosts directions closely.

The location by the park was nice. We took a nice walk around it. It was easy to get into and lock up using the code. It was very roomy with lots of places to sit. Good lighting throughout. It was a nice and clean place. The owner is friendly. He addressed a problem we had right away. He left us $20 in gift certificates for dining, and the restaurant was really good!
My wife was disappointed that there was not a speck of coffee creamer, liquid or dry, to be found for her coffee in the morning! There was an assortment of coffee pods, but it turns out, the OLD Toastmaster coffee pod coffee maker didn't work anyway! I had to make a 7:00 AM Sunday morning coffee run to Exit11 Coffee! AND, the regular coffee maker sitting next to it had an old paper filter with used coffee still in it that had mold growing on it! Pretty gross! The bed was old, squeaky, and wasn't the most comfortable. The French doors to the bedroom need some oil on the hinges as they also squeak. There is a lamp that you have to manually put the lightbulb in and out of because the switch doesn't work. The faucet of the kitchen sink rattles around when you use it. The refrigerator is really small. And the one thing that we brought to the owner's attention while we were there, was that we were chilly (we were in the the downstairs of the property), and there was not a thermostat that we could control the temperature with. It is upstairs which is blocked off from the lower level. We were able to get a hold of the owner, who was in Hawaii, and he sent a relative over to turn up the heat. The yard could have used some upkeep. There were leaves and twigs a plenty, and pieces of trash that I picked up.
