Beautiful Parkside Suite

It was as a welcome oasis & getaway with a wonderful host

The apt was big and accommodated our family of 5 easily. It offered many extra amenities such as a pool table and big library of books and games. Our host was very welcoming, friendly and recommended local restaurants and places of interest such as the nearby Maramec Spring Park which was amazingly beautiful. The park immediately outside our apt door was also beautiful and had a playground and walking trails. Very peaceful quiet atmosphere. We would highly recommend!

The pool in the park nextdoor was closed but we found one nearby with slides in St Robert.

Everything! It was so clean and so comfortable and a great location! Don was a great host. We would definitely stay again.

The location by the park was nice. We took a nice walk around it. It was easy to get into and lock up using the code. It was very roomy with lots of places to sit. Good lighting throughout. It was a nice and clean place. The owner is friendly. He addressed a problem we had right away. He left us $20 in gift certificates for dining, and the restaurant was really good!

My wife was disappointed that there was not a speck of coffee creamer, liquid or dry, to be found for her coffee in the morning! There was an assortment of coffee pods, but it turns out, the OLD Toastmaster coffee pod coffee maker didn't work anyway! I had to make a 7:00 AM Sunday morning coffee run to Exit11 Coffee! AND, the regular coffee maker sitting next to it had an old paper filter with used coffee still in it that had mold growing on it! Pretty gross! The bed was old, squeaky, and wasn't the most comfortable. The French doors to the bedroom need some oil on the hinges as they also squeak. There is a lamp that you have to manually put the lightbulb in and out of because the switch doesn't work. The faucet of the kitchen sink rattles around when you use it. The refrigerator is really small. And the one thing that we brought to the owner's attention while we were there, was that we were chilly (we were in the the downstairs of the property), and there was not a thermostat that we could control the temperature with. It is upstairs which is blocked off from the lower level. We were able to get a hold of the owner, who was in Hawaii, and he sent a relative over to turn up the heat. The yard could have used some upkeep. There were leaves and twigs a plenty, and pieces of trash that I picked up.
