Naxi Suites

The property was modern and roomy. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The roof terrace with pool was an excellent place to relax at the end of a busy day. It was in a great quiet location, but only 2 minutes from the Main Street in Taormina and loads of quality restaurants nearby. Our host, Jacky was very courteous and helpful.

We stayed in a tastefully appointed apartment. Everything looked brand new. The bathrooms were top quality. The bed was comfortable. The rooftop pool, though small, was very nice on a hot summer day, and the view is spectacular. The location couldn't be more convenient for our needs: close to the main streets, the botanical garden, and restaurants. The parking garage was close by as well.

Checkout time is until 10am. They did let us stay until 10:30 but we'd prefer to check out at 11.

Our stay at Naxi Suites was unfortunately disappointing and felt quite overvalued. The apartment was much smaller than expected and, despite my initial booking being for four people, we ended up paying 100 euros extra, reaching a total of 600 euros for one night. It’s possible there was a mistake on my side, but the overall communication and clarity were lacking. What added to our frustration was that the rooftop with the jacuzzi, which seemed to be part of the apartment in the photos, was actually on a different floor and shared with others. None of us felt the description was clear, and that confusion really impacted our experience. It ended up being the group’s biggest regret from the trip. On the bright side, Jacky was kind and helpful, the apartment was clean, and the bathrooms were modern and lovely. Still, we found far better places throughout Sicily with much fairer prices and clearer descriptions that truly exceeded expectations.

Overvalued for sure.
