Welcome to our comfortable, cozy, unpretentious vacation home. We are your on-site hosts, Joe and Jackie. (We live in downstairs apartment). We love our home and area so much that we’ve decided to share them with you and your family. Our CLEAN older home is cozy and centrally located with many awesome local perks available, should you choose to stay with us.
You will occupy the entire top floor of our home, exclusively. You will find ample parking for your vehicles, small boat, motorcycle, kayaks etc.
Exterior is protected & monitored by 24/7 security cameras and motion detector lighting for easy nighttime parking and entry. The front door has keypad entrance for simple check in process. There is a picturesque backyard with picnic table, seating and a gas grill ready to use. Inside-the decor is fall themed and low-key. Our home is lived in and loved much. We’ve tried to use panoramic photos whenever possible and are adding more each day! We have a living room, dining room, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom with removable adjustable shower head. Bedroom #1 has a king size adjustable sleep number mattress with pillow top #2 has a comfortable queen size bed. A futon as well a rollaway bed is located in our HUGE pine gaming room that has: a big screen surround-sound TV, Wii system, retro arcade game and an 8 ft massive pool table. (if it should rain, this room will make your day fun while you wait for the sun!) the updated laundry room is located off this room as well.
Perks: Our home has Dish TV, high-speed Internet, free Wi-Fi, iron and board, gas grill, ample secure parking, electric fireplaces, central heating&air, fans, several spaces for you to work. No alcohol drugs or smoking allowed on the premises.
Joe and I live in the lower level apartment and are willing&waiting to help you with anything you may need to make your stay here relaxing. (please note that Tula may bark on occasion, she’s still learning)
House Rules: no drinking, smoking, drugs, partying, heavy spicy cooking (ie curry asafoetida etc…) or driving on the grass. (contact Joe for additional parking)

My son and I stayed at this property to practice fish for a tournament on Douglas Lake. It could not have been better. We had plenty of room to park our boat. The beds in the house were very comfortable. The house was extremely clean. We did not need the kitchen, TVs, and game room, but they would have been amazing, if we had time to use them. The owners could not have been nicer and more helpful. I have not found more personable, helpful owners in all my time of using VRBO.

Home was perfect. Was traveling with a friend and 2 teenagers. Teens loved the game room and having their own space. Was close to shopping and activities. Renters communicated every step of the way. Everything we needed was provided. Will be returning if properly is available.

We’ve had a great time staying at your wonderful home. It was very clean and felt like home.
We all enjoyed the game room and grill outside.
The beds were comfortable and provided us good rest for busy days out enjoying the areas close by.
