Enjoy our meticulously maintained, tri-level home nestled in the southern part of the city. In minutes, arrive at some of Pittsburgh's favorite sites including our world-famous stadiums. This is our actual home. The kitchen provides just about everything needed to prepare culinary specialties inside or grilling on the patio. Three 55" smart TVs to enjoy.
■Cancellations not accepted due to inclement weather. We suggest being proactive & purchasing travel insurance.
■Garage must be requested when booking. If not, it might be occupied w our vehicle.

I was very impressed with this house. It's elegantly decorated with plenty of space for 6 people. The location was central to all of the events that were planned for the week. We traveled to attend a weekend college commencement ceremony with our two children ages two and 9 months. The baby amenities made our packing so much lighter: high chair, crib, baby gates, and pack and play all provided! Mary Lou was so hospitable and responded to every message quickly. House rules and check out were easy for us to follow with our hands full of kids. We would highly recommend Mary Lou’s property!

We went to Pittsburgh to celebrate a birthday party for my husband and his friends . The house was perfect for the six of us . It was very clean and had everything we all needed. Our host Mary Lou communicated the arrival instructions very well and provided great tips on getting around Pittsburgh. I would highly recommend this host and property

We were visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a very nice stay at Mary Lou’s home. As a family of 5 adults (2 couples and a single), the 3 bedrooms, 3 baths was a perfect fit, allowing us to have our private spaces as well as space for together time. It was clean and the beds were very comfy. The common spaces are well set up: the living room has a large sectional with reclining armchairs on each end; there's a dining-room with a large table; and the den on the lower floor is great for continuing conversations or TV watching when others have retired upstairs to bed. The backyard is beautiful and has a large patio with table, chairs and seating areas. It was cold so we didn't spend time outdoors; I hope to return one day in nicer weather. Both the house and the backyard are well decorated; it has an old world European feel. If you enjoy antiques and ornaments, this is the place for you. There are pieces representing many different parts of the world. Mary Lou also decorated the house for Christmas! We were responsible for providing some key dishes for our Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had the space and every tool needed. It was great to be able to cook at Mary Lou's and take our sides and desserts to our full family dinner. Communication with Mary Lou is very easy and she responds quickly. She gave great restaurant recommendations. There is a welcome book with lots of good information regarding the operation of the house, restaurants and places to see.

Was a great vrbo. Everything as advertised. Close to city. Well stocked with coffee pastries (thanks for those!), drinks, linens. We could have used another bed or blow up mattress but one of the kids slept on the couch. Host was great. And weather was spectacular! Great weekend to enjoy the beautiful back yard.

Mary Lou's home is beautifully decorated and was perfect for my husband and I, and our 2 adult children and their spouses. The beds were very comfortable and there are 3 full bathrooms. Hotand powerful showers started the day off right. The patio and garden are just gorgeous and private. We spent a morning having breakfast, chatting and enjoying the ambiance. Unfortunately, the weather didn't co-operate or we'd have spent every morning there. The living room is also a great place to hang out as a group. One evening, we enjoyed lounging on the large living room sectional and watching a movie together. The host, Mary Lou is lovely, and communicates promptly. She kindly left us some snacks, and has honestly thought of every possible convenience. We hope her home is available the next time we come to Pittsburgh as a family. This is definitely where we would want to stay. In fact, it's on our short list of our very favorite rentals.

This place is like being home away from home. I love Iive indoor plants. And this house has them, well taken care of too. This home is homey and very clean. It’s not for people with knee problem though because of the numerous stairs. We’re just glad there’s railings. Thank you Mary Lou for the wonderful accommodations.

What a clean and cute place. Great communication from the host (Mary Lou), flowers waiting for us on the counter as we arrived...just a wonderful and cozy place to stay. We could have hung out in the back yard for hours - we watched the hummingbirds every morning and evening and spent as much time out back as the weather and visiting family allowed. Clean (clean!) place with a newer feel and nicely redone, great kitchen for cooks, 3 full bathrooms, super comfy beds and bedding, easy tv and wifi with lots of options, friendly and responsive host - what more could we ask for!! We grew to love this place more and more every day we stayed there. One note - lots of nice collectibles throughout the house - if I had smaller kids who were on the go, this house would have been less relaxing for me :). My 10 year old twins were fine there and loved the house as much as we did! Thank you, Mary Lou - one of our best Pittsburgh VRBOs yet...and we've stayed in quite a few there. We will definitely look for your place first next time we're coming through town.

Would give 10 stars if we could!!! Absolutely the BEST!!! Travel a lot & by far this is the finest ever! If you're going to the 'burgh this should definitely be on your top 10 with the Incline, Station Square, Strip District, pierogis, etc. House is great..the veranda is heaven!! Mary Lou is so easy to work with..absolutely nothing to want for there except more time to spend there!! We did not want to leave!! (actually one day we never left! sat on patio all day enjoying the hillside nature!) Don't hesitate, just book it!!!

The house was beautiful, spotless, very comfortable. Every amenity was available to us. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful patio area. Our host was more than helpful to us during our stay. The location to downtown Pittsburgh was key. Only 7-10 minutes away, depending on where you were going. Located in residential area south of downtown very accessible to downtown and Oakland areas by car. For those unfamiliar with Pittsburgh GPS navigation a MUST. Most any destination you would want is under 20 minutes away. Nearby food and restaurants were 10 to 15 minutes away. Could not walk to any of them. House itself was well supplied with soaps. Plastic trash bags kitchens equipment etc. bathrooms all modern . Beds comfortable. Decor strongly reflects owner’s proclivity to accumulate interesting items. Met our needs 100%.

We rented this property with 5 adults and 3 children, and it could not have been any better! The house was clean, and a thoughtful welcome gift of candies and nuts greeted us when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, and the coach and living area provided a great space to relax. The kitchen was excellent. A modern fridge, easy to use coffee maker, and plenty of ice and water from the indoor dispenser on the fridge. The bathrooms were super modern, great water pressure in the shower and plenty of towels. A spacious laundry room as well if you need to clean some clothes. The host was an EXCELLENT communicator, keeping us informed and promptly responding to messages. We have family in the area so we will def be back!

We booked the property based on what we saw in the pictures and were blown away when we got there in-person! Everything was just like it was pictured and we appreciated the great attention to detail by the owner. Unlike most other vacation homes that we have stayed in, this one had a warm and cozy feel and we felt like we were at 'home' all through the stay. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could possibly need and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the cooking supplies provided. Everything was neat and clean and the GORGEOUS BACKYARD was the highlight of the house. Located in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything that's worth visiting in Pittsburgh. Check-in process was very smooth and Mary Lou (owner) was very responsive and thorough with the instructions. Overall, we had a very memorable stay and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Pittsburgh!!
