Surfing, Sun and Fun

The location is excellent, it has a lovely roof top sun bathing area and pool, it was nice and cool to sleep, plenty of hot water. great views from the top outdoor area, very handy for restaurants and beaches. Some fantastic places to eat :-)

I'm very aware of the need for sustainable tourism and I hope local people aren't driven out of their beautiful seaside villages.

Great place to stay in El Cotillo - in the very town-center, near by all attractions, restaurants, viewpoints and bus stop. Appartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a rooftop swimming pool and a space to sit. Private underground parking is a big advantage as the town is quite busy. Beach is in the walking distance. And El Cotillo is the best place to stay in Fuerteventura.

Everything was fine. I can imagine that lack of air conditioning can be a disadvantage in the summertime, but for me in November it was totally fine.

Ubicación y confort

The apartment is in an excellent location near to the port and centre of El Cotillo. There is street parking in the road outside the door - we could usually get a space. The apartment is very comfortable with a large lounge/kitchen, double and twin bedrooms and a good sized bathroom with a large shower. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a good Spar supermarket 2 minutes walk away and a Friday evening craft market also close by. There are lots of naturist beaches easily reached from El Cotillo and this apartment suited us very well for a 9 day stay.

We didn't get a towel & bedding change during a 9 day stay, but used the washing machine to do it ourselves. There is no private outside space - it was perhaps my misunderstanding but the description is of a private pool (the pictures are a bit inconclusive so I asked beforehand if this was private 'just for the apartment' to which the answer was 'yes') but the rooftop and pool are shared between the 32 apartments in the building. We only saw a few other people up there all week, but you can't really strip off for sunbathing or swimming. It is lovely on the roof, just not private!
