About this cabin rental

A short drive less than 45 minutes from Louisville Kentucky will bring you to High Ridge Cabins which provide you a peaceful getaway from the City. If you are looking to just rest and enjoy nature or you are wanting a day filled with attractions and local restaurants you can have both here. We are located less than 3 minutes from Squire Boone Cave and Ziplines, and also a short drive to many other Parks, Rivers, and hiking trails. Some of the best local food joints are just a short drive across the Ohio river in Brandenburg Kentucky or 15 minutes North in Corydon Indiana.
The Cabin has a full Kitchen, bath and bedding on each bed. Towels and toiletries are provided as well. Outside there is a firepit, picnic table, charcoal grill and a set of corn hold boards for some friendly competition! There is a covered front porch with a swing and relaxing chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The back covered porch offers a private hot tub with a view overlooking the hillside.

The cabin was very clean with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the entire cabin, including the loft bedroom area. There was a hot tub, however, we never had a chance to use it. This is a one bathroom cabin and we had 3 adults staying there, the only suggestion I would give is to add a mirror and small table in the loft area. We hope to return in the future and spend more time. The cabin is a nice relaxing getaway.

We loved staying here at this little cabin for a couples weekend getaway. We stayed for two nights. This littlw cabin was so close to Squire Boone Caverns, which i strongly recommend visiting. Its absolutely beautiful there! We also absolutely enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and enjoyed the view. Everything was very private and secluded, though we could see the cabin next to us it wasn't too close. They also had a few board games along with corn hole avalible to play which we also enjoyed! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast aside from a spatula, but we made do. There was a dollar general not too far. The cabin was overall just so cozy with beautiful views and we absolutely hope to go back one day. My only complaint was the beds weren't the comfiest but definitely wouldn't defer me from coming back! Thank you so much for our amazing weekend.

My husband and I brought out 6 year old daughter to this cozy cabin for her fall break. We ventured to Squire Boone Cavern for her first cave tour and were thrilled at how close it was. She was happy to stay in her own loft and had a lot of fun in the hot tub. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed. It would have been nice to have extra towels for the hot tub as the 3 we were provided were wet within our first trip to the tub and never fully dried between uses. The shower dripped, which was pretty annoying since you can hear it through the bedroom while you're trying to sleep, but overall we had a pleasant stay! You have to buy/bring your own firewood to use the fire pit, but we were able to gather enough broken twigs to have enough of a fire to roast smores one evening. We visited a couple hiking trails around the area as well. O'Bannon Nature Reserve was worth the drive! We had a nice time and are grateful to High Ridge Cabins for the experience.

This place was perfect! We came from Virginia to see family in Brandenburg KY. We went and explored the local caves and came back to a clean, cozy cabin, and built a fire both nights. Quite cabin in the woods. Kitchen is tiny, but it worked. Beds, sheets, and towels clean. Bathroom was clean- toilet, sink, shower. Beds were comfortable. Could have been a little cleaner- dust bunnies and dead bugs in corners. We didn't use the fire pit because it rained most nights, but it could use a clean out- ashes almost to the top ring of the pit. I would stay here again. Check in easy with no contact. We had a minor issue, but the property manager responded and worked on it fairly quickly.

I bought this weekend to force my husband to unplug (his work won’t leave him alone…they call day and night). Totally remote and beautiful! If you are looking for quiet, this is it. Cabin was beautiful. Very small shower (don’t drop anything). Very small kitchen (bring easy prep meals). Comfortable bed. We will stay here again for sure!

We went with another couple (4 adults total) and we really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in the wilderness of Indiana. Really cute 2 br cabin, new hot tub was fantastic (for 2 people at a time) Nice big front porch with great seating for 4. Nice fire pit and grill. Our only challenge was the kitchen. It’s the smallest kitchen I’ve ever seen. I don’t think it’s accurate to list it as a “full” kitchen, it just isn’t. It’s a (one person at a time) kitchen. We made it work, but it was a bit difficult with only one person in the kitchen at a time. Overall this place gets a 9.5 just don’t plan to do a lot of cooking.

The property is nestled in nature. It was wonderful not to hear any sounds of the city just rustling of trees. The hot tub was just right. It’s only a 20 minute drive to downtown Corydon. Quaint little shops, brew pub and ice cream parlor. Overall would recommend.

We enjoyed the hot tub with its peaceful surroundings as well as the wildlife. It was secluded but close enough to drive into town for dining. Would definitely visit again. Kitchen is small but we weren't preparing meals there, so it worked well for us. the only negative thing I have to say is the shower is so small that you cannot get out of the stream of water as you are washing but otherwise the cabin is very nice and well cared for.
