The house is in a lovely location, equipped with all the facilities you wish to have. The owner- Gerry, gave us a warm welcome with a lot of useful information. The house was nice and warm. Lots of TV channels available plus a good wifi signal. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. My family enjoyed evening walks in the nearby forest. Lots of amazing views.Great place for a holiday. Highly recommend , thank you !

Hidden gem in a beautiful location, the property itself was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a family or small group who enjoy exploring places of natural beauty! Very close to Aherlow House hotel (we were at a wedding during our stay and this was a 5 minute drive).
Beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of space to play and chill out. Great large dining table for those enjoying a big meal at home.
The garden if fabulous! Shared with the main house, but we had it to ourselves and met the very friendly and helpful gardener who gave great advice on local spots to visit. The owner was in touch on day 1 and was easy to contact with any questions we had (with quick and helpful responses)
Not entirely private (no issues for us at all, but the property is very close to main house which I can imagine being strange when the owners are at home).

Just about everything. The only issue was the bedding being too hard for our liking. Otherwise a great home, location and very peaceful. Local walks were lovely, and close proximity to areas of interest.

Gerry was a wonderful host and was readily available to help with whatever we needed! Loved the cozy and relaxing feel of the house, and the surrounding around in the Glen of Aherlow was so gorgeous!
It wasn’t made clear in the listing that the owners live in the house on the property. It wasn’t a problem but I would encourage you to list that in the booking page. Additionally the lack of a dryer or easy drying of clothes was a bit difficult for us. I would encourage you to provide an indoor drying rack. Thanks!

The house was a little cold but this was probably due to the rainy weather. Otherwise we have no complains and can highly recomend the place.

Warm welcome from the host (Gerry). Very spacious accommodation. Central location to visit Cashel and Cahir as well as Tipperary. Beautiful landscape in the Glen of Aherlow area.
None that I can think of.

spacious. there were only two of us, but for a family or group of four, it was a large property
no full length mirror. I can imagine that this property is regularly booked for the wedding venue at Aherlow House Hotel. there is no full length mirror anywhere, and applying make up might be challenging too. The heating was a little too warm for us and coming on too late in the morning. we did not wish to investigate and change it, so we lived with it.

Gerry left us plenty of useful things to use,the house itself was warm and extremely comfortable, each bedroom having its own bathroom, very quiet surroundings, also Bansha down the road{6km} has the cheapest fuel we've seen in a long time,eur1.59.9. all good.

It is a spacious and well-laid out house in a beautiful setting.
There were several problems with our visit. We had booked for two nights but left after the first night. The primary issue was that we could not get the heat to work so it was cold all night. I messaged the owner shortly after arriving and again the next morning but he did not respond. He claims he never got the messages but booking, com confirmed that they had been sent and didn't know why he said he didn't get them.
The second issue was that the linens on one of the beds had a very strong perfume smell. My brother could not tolerate it so he tried to sleep on the couch. Since there was no heat in the house it was too cold and he ended up going to the car.
There are two other less serious but annoying issues. In one of the showers the water would not stay on unless I held the button in, which made if difficult to soap up. The other issue is that the toilets would not flush solid waste unless we added a few liters of water to the tanks.
