Hot tub with views of Snowdon

Location was great and view from the hot tub was amazing. The host had the wood fired hot tub ready for us to use on arrival and there were plenty of complimentary items in the hut.

We didn't find any issues. We had a lot of bags with us, so we filled the room quickly and found them hard to store out of the way. Although I don't think that's an issue with the accommodation, as it's a shepherd's hut and space is a premium.

The views were amazing, could not wish for a more scenic view of snowdon. I also loved the dogs that roam around the property, and the fact you could just enjoy peace and quiet in the wood fired hot tub, and watch the sunset/rise.

I loved everything. Perfection doesn’t exist of course, but I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly hosts. The hospitality and friendliness made it the most memorable experience I’ve had the pleasure of enduring.

Beautiful, friendly, and dog heavy!

Although it's tucked away it was still easy to find as great instructions were given prior to check in. The location is good as it seems fairly central to quite a few interesting areas and tourist spots. The view is beautiful, and the hot tub was hot when we arrived with extra wood available. The hot tub area felt private despite being next to the main house. There were blankets and a torch for cosy evenings by the fire pit. The bed was big and there was loads of storage space underneath for suitcases etc. The hosts were so lovely and down to earth, and though we didn't need anything during our stay I would have felt very comfortable to ask and am sure nothing would have been too much trouble. Loved that there was an air fryer in the kitchen. Also a really cute welcome book with info on the hosts and local suggestions, which was a nice touch. The 3 dogs are absolutely wonderful and friendly, and we enjoyed throwing a ball for them on the top field!

The dogs did get through the gate a couple of times and into our hut without us knowing, as well as dropping the ball for us & running around when we were trying to relax. We shooed them away/tried to ignore them and they eventually got the message, but I felt bad! The hosts did notice at one point and call them away, apologising to us. It wasn't a big issue really, but if you're not a fan of dogs I'm not sure it'd be the place for you. The bed was really high, and as I'm 5'3" I had to do a weird jump and throw myself in when I wanted to get on, which wasn't ideal! The bathroom is tight, which is to be expected in such a compact space but it just may be an issue if you're a bigger person.

A lovely place to get away from it all.

Beautiful hut with amazing scenery. There was everything that you could need for a few days away, with very welcoming hosts both human and canine. The hot tub was a real plus and the fresh eggs were delicious.

A perfect location for couples to explore Anglesey.

A great location and a warm welcome from the hosts (including the dogs). Our first evening was spent in the hot tub, admiring the views and drinking wine. Excellently placed to explore Anglesey. A cosy little love shack.

Absolutely amazing

Everything was amazing. The hot tub was fantastic. The views and walks to the Menai were also amazing. John and Anne-Marie were also fabulous and so kind. The dogs were also captivating! Almost too captivating, as we may be back to take a puppy! Don't be put off by the fact it's close to the house, as it's very private.

Lovely stay with amazing views

Location was absolutely stunning, the views across snowdonia were exceptional. The hot tub was ready upon arrival and a nice treat after climbing Snowdon 😊. We would highly recommend staying here. Lovely hosts and lovely hut

5* experience.

The whole experience was wonderful, we went for our honeymoon, the hosts were present but not at all intrusive. The views were phenomenal! The shepherds hut was well equipped and a wonderful added touch of fresh hens eggs, milk and prosecco on arrival. The hot tub was set up and ready to use and you could buy additional logs on site for the firepit which was wonderful sat next to under the stars with a glass of prosecco. Great location with lots to do close by, lots of information in the welcome pack. Would definitely like to visit again, a wonderful relaxing break.

The hot tub was great and the wildlife the hut his cosy not a lot of room but it’s only for 2 people and loved the owners dog smudge he runs to u flops on his back and wants u two tickle his belly so hope u like dogs 😂 also u can have a fire outside love that

I thought it was abit cold for me I tried to work out the heating in the information book but couldn’t work it out ! Also u can only have a 3/5 min shower and it gos cold I like a hot shower and to stay in for 10 mins so u better get your hair washed and conditioned before the hot water runs out apart from this it was lovely

Lovely comfortable hut with hot tub, excellent hosts who were welcoming and had everything ready for us, hot tub was heated and ready to go. Comfortable bed and hut was fitted out to a high standard, little welcoming touches were greatly received. Very peaceful and in a lovely locations with beautiful views.

Perfect few days

Beautiful location, the views were something else, John and Ann-Marie were so helpful, a lovely bottle of wine, eggs fresh from the farm and milk were lovely touches, the little house was absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and brilliant shower. The hot tub was just what was needed after our costal walks. The local pub is worth walking to, the foods basic pub grub but nice and it’s very friendly.

Exceptional

We received a very warm welcome and the eggs and free bottle of wine were very much appreciated. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and our hosts seemed super friendly and genuine (the dogs were a bonus too!). The view of the mountains was beautiful, especially first thing in the morning and whilst in the hot tub. The cabin was warm and cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the location was great for exploring Anglesey. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was fantastic, amazingly clean and well equipped, nothing was too much trouble for the owners, Anne-Marie and John. John had the hot tub ready for when we arrived and the views from the hot tub of Snowdonia were spectacular. John gave us great recommendation of where to eat when we asked. Will definitely be back.

So peaceful and relaxing for a much needed break.....great location and view. The hosts were lovely, friendly people who do all they can to ensure their guests have a great experience. Everything was clean and comfortable. So much is fitted into the space To relax in the hot tub watching the stars or looking across to the mountains is amazing

Excellent value

Warm and welcoming in cold and windy January 🙂. Clean and new and quiet. Hot tub under the stars for two lovely hours in the late evening. Hosts were most helpful. We wanted to explore Malltreath because we love C.F. Tunniclliffe RA. The birds drew him to live there to paint them. He is long ago dead but the birds remain plentiful. We will be back 😊.

It was hard to find in the dark. Wish I had written out the instructions sent in advance by John and Anne Marie. John found us🙂.
