Beautiful and cosy B&B

We had a truly wonderful stay at B&B Berglust. Lonneke and Duco were exceptional hosts who welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel right at ease from the moment we arrived. Our son was especially delighted by the chance to spend time with their lovely animals — rabbits, ducks, and chickens — which made the stay even more memorable for him. The breakfast prepared by Lonneke was so good Lonneke and Duco were incredibly helpful with suggestions on places to visit, great spots to eat, and even guided us with directions when needed. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the serene boat ride they took us on — a beautiful and unique way to explore the neighbourhood. We would absolutely love to stay with them again the next time we visit Rotterdam. Highly recommended!

I felt as though I were at home.

It was very cute. It had all the amenities. The patio/terrace was exceptional. Nice to come home to an inviting place. The location was perfect. Near the lake, shopping, and restaurants.

Exceptional

Everything was spot on. The location may seem a bit out of town, but a regular tram into the city centre is just a minute's walk away, followed by a 15-minute ride to Rotterdam Centraal. And Lonneke was kind enough to loan me a OV chipcard, which made travel on the metro also straightforward. But that was typical of her and Duco. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is also in a nice part of town, with a supermarket less than 10 minutes away.

Leaving, and the weather. Cold gales and heavy rain made it a home from home. But that is hardly the hosts' responsibility.

It has been all perfect, the accommodation a kind of magic, like being at home. very nice and comfortable room, peaceful, clean, fluffy towels, beautiful veranda and dehor, nice garden. Practical kitchen with everything you may need. Air conditioning, TV, sofa….all WOW!! The owners are so nice and gentle, very lovely persons! Top of the locations

Un logement idéal, fonctionnel, bien desservi et très mignon pour un séjour à Rotterdam. Je recommande !

Cet établissement était parfait pour un week-end en amoureux. Très cocooning, chaleureux, avec l’espace nécessaire et une petite véranda. Le quartier est adorable, accessible en transport qui nous rallie au centre ville et l’hôte très accueillante. C’est un super logement !

Heel goed, voor herhaling vatbaar!

De hygiëne was heel goed. De prive parkeerplaats ook top. Winkels op loopafstand. Ook een koelkast en een oven/magnetron. Een mooie gezellige accommodatie.

Zauberhafter Aufenthalt!!!

So gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Klimatisiert und sauber .Alles vorhanden um einen gelungen Aufenthalt zu genießen . Die Hühner und Gänse im Garten haben uns so viel Freude bereitet . Der Wintergarten ist zauberhaft. Parken vor dem B&B möglich. Mit der Straßenbahnlinie 4 ,in ca. 25 Minuten in Rotterdam City. Man kann also bedenkenlos das Auto stehen lassen. Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit, vielen Dank an die Gastgeber !!! P.s und die Mühe sich mit uns auf Deutsch zu unterhalten, da unser Englisch sehr schlecht ist.

B&B Berglust is een gezellige en sfeervolle B&B in hartje Hillersberg. Met de tram sta je zo in het centrum van Rotterdam. Het heerlijke ontbijt is zeker een aanrader! Lonneke is een super gastvrouw die ons heel wat lekkere tips kon geven om iets te gaan eten in de buurt.
