The bungalow was ideally situated for our needs, close to town and a great base for travelling further afield. It was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Welcome gift was much appreciated. I would certainly be happy to return.
As others have mentioned the only issue was the wet room floor. The whole floor would get wet when showering. Also the shower head kept falling out.

Poor communication. Before my stay, I had a question and messaged the host through both booking.com and through the Sykes Cottages website, but nobody responded to me. It's all automated messages and nobody really cares once you've handed over your money. I was disappointed at the lack of customer service.

Such a lovely quiet location, but just a short walk into the centre of Whitby. Very clean house and nice garden. We would be happy to stay here again as it was perfect for our break. Enjoyed having days out in Whitby and the surrounding areas and coming back to relax in Rose Bungalow, Thank you for the wine and biscuits.
