Oversands Cottage

The cottage had a lot of charm and absolutely loved the fully functional kitchen, the washing machine, the easy to use heating. The weather was not great but the outdoor dining area is beautiful to sit on while enjoying the sun. The bathroom was so clean could not fault it. The little notices on the wall were very handy with the blinds. The directions to the cottage were very handy. Loved the real pot plants in the property.

The microwave was not clean. It had food stains everywhere evident that they were not missed it just wasn’t cleaned . The house had a stale smell and even though we opened the windows we couldn’t get rid of it. It got better but it was still quite bad. The pillows had the same smell as well. Even though the bed linen was clean, the smell was awful. The rug on the sofa had some sort of food stains on it, clear that it wasn’t changed before we arrived. The shower kept turning off in between the showers not sure if it was faulty or were not being able to use it properly which I doubt. Host communication was so poor, only one way. They never responded to any of my questions both booking app, WhatsApp . They bombarded me with messages but could not reply to simple messages. The put lid had food stains around the rim.

Great views. Great quality space.

I wanted to stay longer.
