About this house rental
Awesome, 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home located on the western shore of Kangaroo Lake. Easy access to the towns on both the lake shore and bay shore of Door County. Spend your day playing in the warm water of Kangaroo lake or just taking in the view from the dock. Enjoy your evenings around the lakeside fire pit or grilling out on the deck. “Whit’s Acre” has everything you need for a fabulous family vacation. The spacious home has a fully equipped kitchen, large great room with a stone fireplace, loft overlooking the great room, covered wrap-around front porch & large deck. The bonus room in the "lighthouse" is the perfect place to play cards & games. You won't find a better place for recreation, rest and relaxation.

Everything was great. Only draw back was “smart TV” wouldn’t work. Maybe we’re just dumb and couldn’t figure it out. Bring your own can opener. Theirs doesn’t work. Minuscule complaints compared to the great time we had. Fabulous fall colors.

We had a lovely family trip! The home is beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The large deck and firepit area are perfect for enjoying the spectacular lake views! Great location to everything in Door County. We highly recommend this home!

This house was a great spot for a weekend getaway with friends! The house is very comfortable and spacious and lake access was awesome. We spent lots of time out in the yard playing games in and around the lake.

We came with our family for a few days, and we immediately knew we should have stayed longer. Between all the activities in Door County and the fun things to do at the house, we quickly ran out of time. The house is grand, and we’ll be back again next year.
