lovely break

fantastic location directly opening onto high street but instantly away from all the hustle. front court yard caught sun in am's for breakfast/coffee and evening for sitting out. spacious cottage, very comfy beds, sofas. Well appointed kitchen.

need more mugs; fridge/freezer not keeping cool enough; peas defrosting. downstairs toilet flush not great. otherwise fantastic.

Fabulous stay in Burford

The cottage was loveky and warm. The bedrooms were large and beds super comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped. The lounge was very comfortable . We liked the fact there was a separate snug.We liked the fact that there was a walk in shower and in the family bathroom a shower and bath We loved that the cottage was just off the High Street and super quiet. Parking was easy.

The shower room needs a slip mat. We also hope the radiator in that room could be turned down. People with mobility difficulties might need to check about the stairs- (there are 2 sets ) the wooden stairs are better. Our minor gripes in the kitchen were an overhot coffee pot handle and no salt,pepper or oil.

Location was fabulous, right on the high street close to everything. Everything was carefully thought out and it was the best equipped self-catering cottage I've ever been to.

Nothing really - I suppose a shame there wasn't a garden (there is a small outside area) but that would have been a bonus not essential.
