Hotel Stračena City

Værelset var stort, det var rent. Very nice bathroom

The bed wasnt that wide. The worst however was the Alfred, When I booked the first time, the payment didnt go through. So the 2nd time, when I checked in, my details were there,or so it seem the last didigts og the phone no and mailadress, but I got no notification, so I noticed mail and phone no were wrong, I changed it still no messages. It was sorted out bt one of the guys in the restaurant. But make a system, where profiles are matched by names that not good, actually its unacceptable, and provide stored information without I had logged in must never happen. Also you couldn't send welcome information again from the app, one could have deleted sms by accident

Perfect central location..great sleep as it was so quiet..very big room and bathroom and one great cafe/ bakery right next door ..so we didn't have to walk far for our breakfast and lunch

Some practical items were missing..like shoehorn or dustpan and brush and mostly bath mats

- Great location close to Ostrava Expo Centre - Cerna Louka. Clean and spacious room.

- The hotel is fully self-check-in without any reception or even lobby. For some travellers this might be a huge plus. However I would consider using another name of the property, not a "hotel" as it is not a hotel. I would go for a Stracena City Apartments or at least Stracena City Hotel - self check-in. This time I really looked for the hotel property to use it's services as a luggage room, reception desk, lobby to sit and work etc. The stay was overal good - just you should not present yourself as a hotel when it is not.

Very comfortable bed, good shower and very clean. Good sharp kitchen knives.

The lack of equipment in the kitchen. Only two knives, forks and spoons. Two small plates and bowls. One teaspoon. Two small coffee cups, one of which was chipped and cracked. One wine glass and two water glasses. It was not easy to prepare a meal. Two sachets of instant coffee for two guests for three nights. No other coffee making facilities.
