Good location. Well equipped spacious house. Ideal having 2 seating areas when sharing with children. Ground floor of property cool which was bonus in current heatwave. Good size family bathroom. Garage parking a real plus.

Messy front & rear courtyard. Loft bedroom & bathroom ceiling height very challenging & extremely hot in current weather. En-suite very small.

Well furnished and fully equipped house close to the middle of Oystermouth. Large kitchen with plenty of utensils, and ample leisure/reception space. Although we never met the hosts, they were responsive to messages, and all the access arrangements, etc, worked well. The large lock-up garage is a plus.

The attic-conversion bedroom on the top floor has very constricted headroom which is awkward to navigate. If you bring a second car, parking arrangements for it are difficult.

The size of the property and the location were excellent.

It smelt a little musky when arrived, the cleaners turned up when we were there and said it needed a clean but we had already been there a day. Also no soap in the bathrooms or shower gel or spray to clean the sides down with. That wouldn’t stop up staying though as it was still lovely.

6 Woodville Road is a truly exceptionally beautiful holiday home. The location is ideal, with everything within easy reach in Mumbles. Whether it’s the promenade, the pier, the wide range of shops and supermarkets, or beaches such as Langland or Caswell, everything is just a short walk away. There’s a really good fish and chips shop and a lovely café right on the corner. Our contact with the landlord, Jennifer, was always very friendly. She always replied within a very short time. Before our arrival, we were provided with all the necessary information regarding our journey and key collection without even having to ask. The house itself was very clean and very well equipped. It has everything you need for a holiday stay. Even in the kitchen, a basic supply of things like spices, tea, coffee, etc. is already there. That was really great. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay there and can imagine booking it again. We’d also like to highlight the garage, which is located directly behind the house. This is a real advantage that shouldn’t be underestimated, as parking in the local area is very difficult for visitors. Thank you very much, Jennifer, for this wonderful holiday with you!

There isn’t really anything we didn’t like. The only thing that needs reconsidering is the value for money, as the accommodation is relatively expensive compared to other very similar properties in the immediate vicinity. That is also the only reason why we are awarding ‘only’ a 9.0 instead of the top mark of 10.0.
