A Room with the best view in Lecce opposite the Basilica Croce in the very heart of the old town. The Salento style with its tiled floors and high ceilings lent itself to staying cool. Air conditioning on hand too of course. Staff very helpful and accommodating. The street has many cafes/restaurants and a local gelataria at a wee distance from the front door...with the Palazzo and community garden1 minute away...wonderful singing, weddings, and dancing could be seen from the balcony too. A great unexpected Italian, Lecce experience! Highly recommend!
