Location, location, location

The location was fantastic, right in the middle of the town, close to everything.

The narrow and dangerous stairs to the top bedroom. They would not pass safety regulations in Australia.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Hygiene and Misleading Photos Our stay was very disappointing, as the property was not clean

Disappointing Stay – Poor Hygiene and Misleading Photos Our stay was very disappointing, as the property was not clean and did not reflect the photos shown in the listing. On arrival, we found dirty teaspoons mixed in with the clean ones, a filthy oven, and a cluttered attic where the washing machine was located. Disturbingly, there was also a strange bowl left there with something growing out of it. Accessing the washing machine was difficult. The upstairs room had significant black mould on the ceiling, raising serious health concerns. The beds were uncomfortable, with one being just a fold-out couch, and all the pillows were old, unpleasantly smelly, and badly in need of replacement. The shower doors were also dirty, adding to the overall lack of cleanliness. Overall, the property felt unhygienic. This was far from the experience we expected, and we would not recommend it.

Great apartment in a central location

Although listed as a 1 bed property, it is more like a 2 bed as the second bedroom is up a flight of stairs and can be made completely separate. Great central location. Nice to have breakfast at a local bar included. Nice soft towels.

We didn’t have communication from the host before arrival. In fact it was very easy to collect the keys as he owns a bar which is only about a 2 minute walk away, but we did not know this before hand. Patch of black mold visible from upstairs bedroom.

Tutto bene!!!

L'Appartamento del Corso è nella strada principale di Castiglione del Lago. E' in zona pedonale ma la strada per parcheggiare è veramente vicina. La casa è pulita, perfettamente arredata, in cucina non manca nulla, tè e caffè a disposizione degli ospiti. L'unica cosa che suggerirei è di mettere un corrimano alla scala d'ingresso.

Trotz mehrfacher Meldung zur Ankunftszeit, war das Appartement ungeheizt und kalt bei 16 Grad Celsius. In den Handbedienungen für die Klimageräte waren die Batterien leer. Ebenso in der Fernbedienung des TV-Gerätes. Die Klimaanlagen-Geräte liessen sich nur schwerlich bedienen und schalteten mehrfach einfach ab. Die Treppe hinauf in das zweite Schlafzimmer ist eng und sehr steil und nur mit grosser Vorsicht zu benutzen. Es ist eher eine Hühnerleiter. Das Treppenhaus, das direkt im Wohnbereich liegt und im EG gleich hinter der Haustür beginnt, hat keinerlei Heizung und die Kälte zieht direkt hinauf in den Wohnbereich. Das Treppenhaus hat keinen Handlauf. Mit Gepäck muss man ohne Sicherung die ca. 10 glatten Steinplattenstufen nach oben und nach unten steigen. Das ist ebenso gefährlich! Die Toilettenbrille im Badezimmer ist komplett locker und verschiebt sich in alle Richtungen. Der Duschkopf im Bad ist komplett verkalkt. Das Duschwasser spritzt in alle Richtungen aus dem Duschkopf. Der Abfluss der Dusche ist bereits teilweise verstopft. Das Wasser fliesst ganz langsam ab. Bei langem Duschen läuft die Duschwanne über.
