The lake, a 15-minute walk away, is free to access. You can also head to “Plage de Menthon” for a supervised swimming area and a wading pool for little ones. There’s also a friendly snack bar/restaurant.

The lake is incredible for swimming thanks to its crystal-clear waters, but you can also enjoy kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, sailing, pedal boat rentals, and more...

There’s also a boat shuttle running from the small port of Menthon to the beautiful old town of Annecy, also known as the Venice of the Alps.
