Disappointing but could be so much better with attention to detail

The apartment was located in a great area close to the sea front and restaurants we managed to park right outside

After a very long journey we had to attend an address around 10mins drive away to collect the keys and pay a 200euro damage deposit this was collected by chip and pin in the dark on the street ! This process could be made some much easier for the guest by taking card details by booking and key safe at the property or meeting guest at the property stayed at loads of other places where they do this and so much more convenient 40euros was paid in cash when keys collected and when we arrived at the apartment there was a rotten apple on top of the fridge and bits on the floor under end of bed so felt hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived so we were disappointed really as we have stayed in area loads of time before at different accommodation options so next time will be a hotel There is no bedding at all or any towels and even cushion on bed didn’t have a cover on it Felt like apartment had been lived in very recently due to items inside and stuff on top of wardrobe

Top locatie en fijn appartement, maar verbetering mogelijk.

De locatie was helemaal top en de ruimte ook.

Half rolletje wc-papier, 1 velletje keukenrol, lege fles afwasmiddel, vieze afwassponsjes, geen schone theedoek. Handdoeken en beddengoed niet inbegrepen.

Le bonheur de nous trouver dans ce très confortable appartement à 2 pas de la Mer du Nord

La situation idéale : à 100 m de l'esplanade du bord de mer avec ses cafés et restaurants; à 200 m d'un arrêt du tramway qui dessert toute la côte belge; à 1,5 km d'un grand espace naturel protégé dans les dunes: dans l'agréable ville-station de La Panne; à 3 kms du remarquable parc d'attractions de Plopsaland desservi par le tramway; dans une rue calme; dans un immeuble calme, propre et sécurisé; avec des places de parking devant l'appartement (gratuites en semaine hors-saison touristiques et hors vacances scolaires locales). L'appartement est très agréable, très bien meublé et équipé avec tout confort (chambre, cuisine, salle de bains, télévisions, etc.). Le propriétaire est joignable à tout moment, si vous avez besoin d'aide ou d'un renseignement. Le rapport qualité-prix à la date de notre location est excellent.

L'information sur le site booking.com pourrait être améliorée en ce qui concerne le versement (légitime) d'une caution et ses modalités (paiement/remboursement) : l'information figure "dans le bas" de la rubrique "informations importantes" et donc n'apparaît pas lors d'une première lecture du descriptif de l'offre (il faut "ouvrir" cette rubrique commençant par "l'interdiction des enterrements de vie de célibataire" pour voir l'information). Je n'avais donc pas vu cette information lorsque j'ai validé ma réservation. Tout s'est bien passé pour le paiement/le remboursement de cette caution avec un propriétaire très fiable : il faut néanmoins être attentif aux modalités du moyen utilisé (virement bancaire) qui ne sont pas les mêmes suivant votre pays de domiciliation bancaire ou les services offerts par votre banque.
