Cosy, high quality chalet - but no door on toilet!

The location was really great with a wonderful view of the mountains and the lake. Owner was super helpful and communicative, the place was stylish, high quality and very clean. We loved the hot tub, but if you are heating it from cold it will take about 3 hours… however once it’s hot it will be warm enough the next evening to use it without heating up again.

I didn’t pick up from the reviews how “unprivate” the bathroom is, so be prepared that the toilet offers no privacy at all. The place is all open plan and there is no door to the toilet area. If you are a new couple, you’re going to be getting to know each other in ways that you might not want to!!

Lovely relaxing chalet!

Really beautiful chalet. Interior and decor were great and things have been done to a high spec. View from the chalet is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need!

Everything is open planned including the bathroom and toilet.

Nice place in a beautiful village

Lungern is a beautiful village and the chalet provides a great base from which to explore the area and mountains. René was a lovely host and the house is well-equipped, we had breakfast on the terrace each morning with a view over the turquoise lake.

As several reviews mention, noise can be an issue with the church bells ringing and the house is also on the main road through the village. We brought earplugs which did the trick.

Zum Verlieben!

Das Chalet ist ein Traum! Es besteht aus einem ganzen Gebäude auf zwei Ebenen (Schlafzimmer im Dach) - grosszügiger Wohn-Essbereich mit Topp ausgestatteter Küche, Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Zum Gebäude gehört auch ein "Schopf / Schuppen" zur Holzlagerung (für Kamin und HotTub). Man hat dort absolute Ruhe in Alleinlage - das ist wunderbar. Wegen der, unterhalb des Gebäudes liegender Strasse, braucht man sich keine Sorgen zu machen - dort herrscht kaum Verkehr und durch die erhöhte Lage des Chalets ist es sehr ruhig! Das Ambiente des Chalets ist einzigartig, mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet - rundum zum Wohlfühlen! Auch sehr, sehr schön ist der HotTub, auf der schönen Terrasse, mit Ausblick auf den See - vor Allem, wenn es Minusgrade hat :-) (es war sogar schon Anzündholz drin, auch das und vieles andere, spricht für die erstklassigen Gastgeber Rene+Sonia) Auch die gesamte Ausstattung ist einzigartig - es ist wirklich ALLES vorhanden - vom Fön, über Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Töpfe, Pfannen, bis hin zu Bade- und Handtüchern, einfach ALLES was man braucht. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal - zu Fuss gelangt man in ein paar Minuten zum See, zur Bergbahn welche auf den Turren führt - Wir hatten das Glück, das ganze mit Schnee erleben zu dürfen - EIN TRAUM! .... was gibt es noch zu sagen? .... eigentlich nur, dass wir am liebsten gar nicht mehr gegangen wären! Eine Bitte an alle künftigen Mieter - das Chalet ist wirklich ein Traum - pflegt es, hütet es - und verlasst es bitte so wie ihr es vorgefunden habt - es ist es mehr als "Wert" Kurzum - Wir haben uns wirklich "verliebt".

Perfecta, idílica.

Simplemente impresionante. Nos dejó sin palabras. Es una casa ¡PRECIOSA!, mas romántica imposible. Tiene 2 plantas y un patio donde hay un jacuzzi de leña. La sensación de estar en el agua con el olor a madera y el sonido de la leña es indescriptible. La casa está cuidada al más mínimo detalle. Tiene absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar. La cocina extremadamente equipada. A parte, tiene otra estancia independiente con el cuarto de la lavadora. Os pongo algunas fotos de lo que os digo y una de la vista que tienes mientras estás en la bañera o en el jacuzzi. Si el alojamiento es perfecto, el anfitrión no se queda atrás. René es una persona muy agradable y servicial que no duda un momento en ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. La privacidad está más que asegurada. En pocas palabras, un sitio idílico. Si os lo podéis permitir, no dudéis ni un segundo en ir.

Únicamente, y no es algo que el dueño pueda hacer nada, justo arriba de la calle, donde aparcareis el coche, hay una iglesia preciosa (sin ironía, es muy bonita) la cual te canta todos los cuartos y las horas las 24h del día, y a parte, a las 6 am y a las 23h se vuelve loca. El primer día molesta, luego te acostumbras. Con unos tapones, queda solucionado. Esto es solo para que seáis conscientes y os llevéis los tapones, que este pequeño detalle no os eche para atrás.
