The house has a modern kitchen, a historic farmhouse parlour and cosy, wood-panelled rooms. It has recently been partially renovated (new floors, freshly painted) There are several seating areas around the house, a lush flowering garden and a sunbathing lawn right by the lake. The area is suitable for hiking, swimming, biking, skiing and fishing. Alpine skiing in Meiringen-Hasliberg, 15 minutes by car. Lungern is surrounded by 2000 metre high mountains and has a beautiful village with old wooden houses. Tourist centres such as Lucerne and Interlaken can be reached within 30-45 minutes by car.
