Casa Santa Maria - Beautifully restored house in centro storico Irsina Basilicata Puglia

The amount of effort and attention Walter and Christa put into restoring this beautiful old house is incredible. The house is located in the quiet old part of Irsina town, on a comfortable distance from noisy drinking places, and at the same time within the walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Another benefit - no tourists strolling down the streets. The place is just in a perfect location for a getaway. There is no chance to reach the house by car, so be ready to carry your luggage, however you can leave the car on a free parking just 2 min walk from the house. The most important - make sure you check the Irsina guidebook prepared by Walter and Christa. It is nicely done and very helpful for a first time visitor.

An absolutely gorgeous place. A gem! A beautiful wander through the old village to access this truly unique home. Generous facilities and comfort. Stunning rooftop views. A short walk to the piazza with places to eat and drink. Historical and interesting places to visit in a very friendly village. We did not want to leave.

Could not fault a thing.

The location was perfect, the apartment was furnished with the best furnishings and a very cool bonus rooftop deck with a great view. Our host was fantastic. She felt like family to us.
