Pleasant stay in the Camargue

Hosts easy to reach and very reactive Situated between Arles and the salt fields of the Camargue Lots of animals close by(cattle, horses) You can bring your dog! (just announce it before)

You will need a car to get around Property close to a main road. You do not hear the cars but it kind of limits your movement without car. As of October, works still going on around the property If you take breakfast, it ads a certain budget to your stay as it is not included. Costs of 25 euros per adult. During hunting season you might hear gun shots close by and very early in the morning ( it was the case for during our Stay)

Not really satisfying for the money we paid, except for the location.

The whirlpool was preheated when we arrived and we could park the car under a roof which was nice as it was rather sunny. Also it is rather close to the salty lakes and the flamingos (80km by bike at nice bike lanes).

Doesn’t feel like it was worth the approx. 100€ we spent per night not even including breakfast or anything. Stayed for two nights but while in the guideline it said we need to be silent from 11pm to 8am in the first night there was a party going on in the nearby restaurant until something like 1am. So it felt like (not) sleeping on a camping yard at a festival … . Second night was better but also the driveway of the restaurants parking lot is right next (2 meters maybe) to the mobile home so you get to know everyone who’s going there. Mobile home itself was okish, you could see that this one is more than one summer old, and some dishwashing liquid would have been nice, wifi was there but no connection to the internet. Also some light bulbs not working … all of which would be ok if one pays say less than 50€/night.

We thought we bought a villa, but actually received a small covered wagon. We made the most of it would not want to live in the covered wagon again.

Relaxing stay at a working farm near La Camargue and Arles

It was very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The house was well equipped (specially the kitchen), cleaned and comfortable.

A very minor point, but the dinning table chair were not too comfortable.

A modern and charming villa of 5-star hospitality

Monsieur Philippe's villa is tastefully decorated, modern and newly built. All the provisions in the villa is deluxe hotel grade, from the beddings to the linens, and the kitchen facilities. Wifi is working very well, just in case some wonder. And Monsieur Philippe is a hospitable host, he will come around and greet his guests upon arrival, and if you need anything, he's there in minutes.

If I have to say, if the host can remove some of the decorative items to leave more space for the guest's use. The bathroom can use some hooks for hanging towels or clothes.

PHILIPPE E' STATO MOLTO CORTESE E DISPONIBILE. LA CONSIGLIO TRANQUILLAMENTE. NOI SIAMO STATI 5 GG. TRA NATALE E CAPODANNO, MA IN PRIMAVERA ED ESTATE IMMAGINO CHE DIVENTA UN LUOGO MAGICO. UN SALUTO ALLA FAMIGLIA DEL SIG. PHILIPPE E AD ARLES. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- La maison est superbe, rénovée avec goût et meublée avec une grande terrasse. L'escalier est très pratique. Le propriétaire, M. Philippe, était également très aimable et serviable. Je la recommande vivement. Nous y avons séjourné 5 jours entre Noël et le Nouvel An, mais j'imagine qu'au printemps et en été, elle doit être absolument magique. Meilleurs vœux à la famille de M. Philippe et à Arles.

J ai beaucoup aimé l aménagement de la villa avec toyt l équipement necessaire, sans oublier la climatisation. Nous avons pu voir les chevaux. Nous avons pu faire un barbecue...il ne manquait que la piscine.

Un gite très spacieux , agréable et bien situé. Les chambres étaient confortables et l'espace salon très grand .La cuisine était fonctionnelle et assez bien équipée .

Les canapés étaient très grands mais peu confortables. La table de repas en verre pas très pratique. L'accès en voiture n'est pas aisé car situé sur une voie rapide.

Belle adresse à recommander

L'emplacement en pleine campagne était un choix qui nous a ravi une fois arrivé : nature, espace, de beaux platanes, des animaux dans de vastes prés... L'arrivée se fait via une boîte à clés qui nous a permis d'arriver et de nous installer à notre guise. Le logement est bien pensé, bien décoré, bien équipé et confortable. Mention spéciale pour la qualité exceptionnelle de la literie (on veut la référence du modèle pour investir aussi!). Le petit sms juste avant d'arriver présentant la possibilité de diner sur la guinguette présente sur le site a tout changé car nous n'avions pas vu l'info. Donc cette guinguette où on peut dîner et consommer de la viande élevée sur place est un vrai +. Je finis par l'accueil, familial mais pas intrusif, vous êtes des passionnés et des travailleurs, avec une belle joie de vivre. Merci. Bref, tout était parfait, nature, juste, simple et efficace pour un tarif honnête. Nous reviendrons !

Ottimo soggiorno in un posto fantastico.

La tranquillità del posto e la natura che lo circonda

Purtroppo la villetta prenotata al nostro arrivo, ovvero alle 15.30 dopo che avevamo ripetutamente avvertito che saremmo giunti a quell’ora, non era ancora pronta. Dopo l’intervento della responsabile ci e’ stata assegnata un’altra villetta impeccabile da ogni punto di vista ma, purtroppo, senza wifi funzionante.

Consigliato come base per visitare la Camargue

Gli appartamenti sono nuovissimi, con tutti i servizi: aria condizionata, cucina perfettamente attrezzata, tv di ottima qualità, internet incluso nel prezzo veloce e di facile configurazione.

Gli alloggi sono porzioni di casolari inseriti in una tenuta agricola molto grande, che sembra in via di ristrutturazione ed è un po’ trascurata.

posto stupendo, fuori dalla città ma che merita assolutamente il viaggio

TUTTO! Sebbene la posizione sia in campagna, quindi NON nella città e bisogna necessariamente avere un'auto per spostarsi, l'appartamento è super comfortevole, nuovo, ben curato e arredato con gusto. La proprietaria è super gentile e disponibile. Non preferisce parlare in inglese ma conoscendo noi il francese è stato comunque facile interagire e lei è stata disponibilissima e ci ha anche dato consgli su cosa visitare nei dintorni e come raggiungere i supermercati più vicini e comodi. L'appartamento è grande, con camere adeguatamente spaziose, dotate di aria condizionata in ogni stanza. Il bagno è sufficientemente ampio, nuovo e con una bellissima doccia. La biancheria è pulita e l'aria condizionata era già stata accesa prima del nostro arrivo, permettendoci di trovare l'alloggio fresco. I letti sono comodi e spaziosi (il matrimoniale è un vero matrimoniale, non alla francese, almeno quello della Bastidette dove abbiamo allogiato noi) ed i cuscini sono abbastanza alti, ma morbidi. io personalmente che non li amo alti avrei gradito anche il "secondo cuscino" ma ho ovviato mettendo la federa su uno dei cuscini aggiuntivi del divano. Nell'alloggio è presente una smart tv ed il wifi. La prensenza dei cavalli (è in una fattoria, ma è tutto super pulito) rende l'atmosfera ancora più bella, a mio parere.

Ottima esperienza

La struttura è parte di un attento restauro in un vasto contesto agricolo con bestiame e cavalli. Arredamento molto curato e non manca nulla per godere una vacanza in assoluta tranquillità con il solo “rumore” delle famose cicale della Camargue. La localizzazione è ideale per raggiungere rapidamente tutte le città cossi ricche di storia che fanno da cornice all’inno presente Rodano . Supermercato e negozi etti raggiungibili in auto in un paesino vicino . Altamente raccomandato
