Experience Camp Sunrise on Upper Saranac Lake, an unparalleled Adirondack lakeside retreat with more than 110 years of history!
After a fire tragically took down the original 110-year old structure in 2019, the current owners, who have held the property for some 6 decades, have fully re-imagined this new build to maximize Upper Saranacs' stunning lake and sunrise views. Undoubtedly, there is no better place to welcome the day than on the deck of Camp Sunrise.
Boasting five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two half baths - Camp Sunrise is true luxury at the lake.
Guests will enjoy a sun-filled great room with cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan. Complete with a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen, lake view dining room, and a ten-person dining table - perfect for family-style dinners.
Just off the great room, a spacious screened-in porch is the premiere spot to enjoy a cocktail hour, rainy day, or a casual summer BBQ.
Special attention to accessibility was paid to ensure the entry-level king suite does not require guests to use the stairs. In addition, the ensuite bathroom has a wide, low-lip shower - ideal for those wishing to avoid steps into a tub.
On the upper floors, guests will find three bedrooms and a "work from home space" that will be the envy of any zoom meeting. The bedrooms include an ensuite king bedroom, a twin room (with half bath), and a bunk room with two sets of twin bunks.
The spacious lower level has a TV den with an Amazon Fire TV that you can log into your streaming services, a bedroom with two twins, and a full bath.
Outside - visitors will enjoy a boathouse with a dock, complete with canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. After a sun-filled day of swimming, they can enjoy roasting s'mores in the spacious fire pit/BBQ.
Guests of Camp Sunrise also have access to the private, Sekon association with sandy beach and gradual walk-in lake access (perfect for families with little ones!).
A short walk from the property, guests can adventure on short-nature walks, which leads to beautiful views of Panther, Arab, and Coney mountains.
Guests are 15-20 minutes from downtown Saranac Lake, 15 minutes to Tupper Lake, and 35 minutes to Lake Placid.
During the summer months, Camp Sunrise rents on a weekly Saturday to Saturday schedule.
This property will consider allowing ONE trained and well behaved dog with an additional pet fee.

We had a wonderful stay. The Tupperlake area was centrally located to meet up with our cousins. The house and property was perfect and well equipped for all our needs. It was a beautiful setting on the water. Thank you
