We are a couple from Germany and had a beautiful stay in New Hampi at Ayushas and her mother Shishis Homestay. We were lucky having found such a quiet & good located place to discover Hampi & surroundings as we were not sure before where its best to stay. Ayusha helped us with good drivers (taxi driver tp pick us from Bangslore airport & to Hospet train station) & Riksha drivers for Hampi temples and other side of the river). There are also buses and rikshas running to Hampi Bazaar from the main road. (8-10 min walk from the homestay) which is a good alternative to visit things in Hampi centre. Ayusha who speaks very good english gave us many extra informations about the culture, people & politics. Shishi explained us a lot about local food and plants. There are 2 rooms on the roof top which share a terasse. The family lives downstairs but you have total privacy in your space and you also dont hear the neighbours. Our room had a very good matress and was superclean. And bath room was newly renovated and hot water was always available. It was really much better then we expected. We had homemade indian breakfast in the mornings (or sometimes also a dinner) on the terasse (dont forget to tell them the day before - they are also flexible with timings if you visit temples & monumentas in morning time)! Food is very delicious. If you want something you can always ask for it. Thank you for the nice time we had and for so many nice talks ❤️

Decent stay for 3-4 people. Budget friendly.

Location is bit inside, not close to main road. From main road itself, there is a distance of 4km to Hampi. Also we had to ask for basic things like soap and towel.
