3 Portofino 1406

Tower 3 - 1406 Close proximity to a clean beach, private feel, easy access from Tower 3. Parking was easy and lots of restaurants and stores within 25-30 mins from property. Nicely decorated with a touch of Seaside Hobby Lobby look. Bed was comfortable. STAFF Portofino staff are welcoming and friendly. Our room was managed by a third party iTrip through the owner and was not managed by Portofino Island Resort. ITrip management and maintenance were very good at helping address issues of the unit while we were staying there and went above and beyond to help.

Tower 3 - 1406 This review is for this unit only. The unit was not properly cleaned by whoever cleaners they hired. We arrived late and found the pillows of the couch and one bed pillow on the floor next to the couch which made us question the cleanliness of the unit. The couch was dirty and stained which is normal for however many guest uses this unit and we normally just put a sheet on top of it whenever we sit on a couch. The outside of the vent was dusty. The refrigerator was not wiped down well from last use and the washer and dryer was all moldy and smelled of mildew. It took forever to clean them for us to be able to use. The kitchen was clean at a glance but the kitchen items were questionable dirty because the cups and drawers were dirty and we had to re wash everything we were using. The balcony could use a good washing as it was also thick of dust and moldy on some areas. The grill could use some cleaning. Towels are dingy and for how much this unit rents out could probably afford to buy new white towels regularly. Costco sells a 6 pack hospitality towel for $25 or so. I am only allowed 4 photos.

The facilities and location are great. Easy to get to beach or jump in a pool. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed to enjoy our days and nights with a great view of the bay. There is plenty to do at the Portofino.
