Traditional house style. Was a little gem tucked in a contemporary city. Convenient for hooking the Camino de Santiago. Loved the hammock & green space in the yard. Plenty of space for our group of 5. Nicely andy kitchen with the right, basic amenities provided. We were able to cook supper & breakfast after visiting Froiz, just a block away.

Front bedroom is extremely noisy, just feet from the street & neighborhood trash bins. Bring ear plugs!

My family and I loved everything about this property. From the moment we booked, Pilar, the host, answered all my questions. I told her I didn’t speak Spanish much and she eased my mind as she communicated with me in English very well which helped with my process of booking and arranging backpack transport with ease. The property is located close to a supermarket, restaurants, cafe bars and pharmacy. It is also along the way to Camino Santiago so it made it very easy for us to get off and on the Camino Portuguese route. Enrique, Pilar’s husband greeted us with a very welcoming smile when we arrived at the property. He also recommended the best restaurant, Veiramar Arcade, in town. This restaurant has very delicious seafood and meats cooked to perfection. Plus the view of the bay was amazing. The house is very comfortable and clean. We loved gathering in the living room and kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. It’s great value for the money. The garden is very relaxing and it’s a bonus that there is a washing machine. The hosts also gave us the best tasting croissants for breakfast to get us off our Camino in a very good way. The personalized luggage transfer is very comforting. I contacted three major backpack transport companies and I provided them with our Camino dates, origin and destination and all of these major companies didn’t deliver to all of our booked apartments. They only deliver to hotels and albergues. However, Enrique agreed to give us a personalized backpack pick up transfer for 5 of us to each of our destinations. There was no worry with Enrique backpack or luggage transport. Our backpacks arrived before we got yon our destinations all the way to Santiago. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s truly a gem and a blessing that we found this property.
