The 5 minutes from Camino trail is more realistically like a 20 minutes final uphill slog if arriving in the heat of the day. 36 degrees clear skies for us!😂🤦‍♂️

A rural accommodation close to a Camino trail so lovely for walking. Central location to access both Pontevedra & Vigo on short train rides. Lovely staff and good breakfast & able to have dinner as well
Nothing not to like. Perfect for pilgrims. We had a car so made the town easily accessible

We loved our stay at As Chivas. The atmosphere and food were excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would make the effort to stay here again.
A bit of an extra effort to get there when walking the Camino. Still worth it.

The surprise beauty of the place , which can't be seen from outside. We first see a shabby doorway but it's like the feeling of entering a secret garden. The next surprise was checking in over the kitchen counter! Julio who is also the cook , showed us the room. Third surprise is the dinner was awesome and it's less than €20 for a full course.
The location is far from the end point at Redondela. We went by taxi as the place is on a hill.
