The room was spacious and well equipped. WiFi was great - we were able to work. Shower pressure was strong. The staff were lovely, a highlight of our stay.

1/ Cigarette burn marks on bedcovers , reported this to duty manager who said he would get sheets changed but didnt ( Im a non smoker ) 2/ I am a diabetic and need keep my insulin cool. The fridge in room froze water bottles in salad draw . I tried to adjust setting but without success - so had to keep checking my medication so it did not freeze. 3/ Gyn was good idea but apparatus very poor and sparse. 4/ Lift broke on one occasion and was fixed after approx 2 hours ..This in itself was not a major problem as things do breakdown sometimes ... However , the stairway which would be emergency exit if fire etc had no lighting on certain floors and no natural light from windows ,, I had to use stairway to access my room for medication , which I found difficult due to blacked out stairway. 5/ Room shower heater didnt work...so only cold shower available in room... I reported but after inspection no repair was made. 6/ Terrible noise from nearby club which went on all night until 04:15 am each night..... To be replaced by barking dog....Ear plugs needed.
