SĪMANIS Boutique Hotel

The property has been lovingly and creatively restored; it is beautiful, comfortable, and convenient. Katerina was a lovely host, flexible, relatable, and willing to show us more of the house when we expressed interest. We did not sign up for breakfast - simply because we had been eating too much! - , but it looked delicious and is a good value. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay in this unique, small hotel.

You can hear the other guests in the house, but it was very quiet from about 10 pm to 8 am, so it was not a problem.

The hotel is beautifully restored, the rooms are unique and very tastefully decorated. We admired every detail and made a lot of pictures. Breakfast was amazing, the lady who served the breakfast was so proud to present the very tasty dishes that she made.

There is no sound insulation between the rooms. You can hear conversations happening in the room above you very clearly, and everything else that goes on there...

Great location in the city center, with parking available on the property nearby. We also enjoyed a very good breakfast, which was available for an additional charge. One of the highlights was learning about the history of the house through the beautifully designed books with excellent photos, available both in the rooms and in the lobby. The interior is beautiful, with plenty of thoughtful details and creative design touches that give the place a unique charm.

Nothing negative to mention, we only stayed for one night. For some guests, it may be worth noting that, as this is a ~200-year-old historic building, sound insulation is not comparable to a modern hotel. Also, guests with reduced mobility or disabilities may find accessibility somewhat challenging.
