Welcome to Salt Spray!
This cozy cottage sits on one of the highest points on Bailey Island with breathtaking views all around it. With an exceptionally spacious yard this property allows you to walk and enjoy sunrises as well as sunsets whether with a coffee or a cocktail! Inside this newly remodeled cottage you will find a bedroom on the first floor with a queen size bed as well as its own full size bathroom. There is another full bathroom downstairs off of the living area as well. The loft for sleeping upstairs has a queen and two twins. For addition sleeping the living room futon converts into a full size bed as well. The views from inside are almost as amazing at outside with several windows to see the panoramic water views. This property is also located in a fantastic walking spot to enjoy an evening walk or a quick trip down to Mackerel Cove. The updated kitchen and bathrooms allow you to enjoy all the modern comforts in this cottage.

Adorable cottage in private quiet location with beautiful views of bay. Very clean and well stocked kitchen for the most part. Great deck to enjoy the views and sunset. Since it was just my husband and myself we did not use the sleeping loft. Could be an issue for seniors since access by ladder steps but a great place for kids. Also had difficulty accessing programs on TV. A suggestion to make the living room more comfortable would be comfortable sofa in place of futon and chairs with reading light. Also, although you technically have access to water on the property it is a distance and would be difficult to launch kayaks.

The setting of this property is really stunning. The views of the ocean and the land were really beautiful and picturesque. We really fell in love with the property.
The interior has a really cool look with a very well equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms.
I agree with other reviewers that the furniture--both inside and outside--could be better and more comfortable. Also, the ladder to get to the loft is impractically steep. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this property.
