About this house rental
Bring the whole family together at this pet-friendly holiday rental, with lots of room to suit all. Based up on the Mynydd (Nefyn mountain), Cae Mawr looks over Nefyn and Porthdinllaen bays, with the famous Ty Coch Inn (voted 3rd best beach bar in the world) 10/15 min drive away. You can walk further up into the mountain, or walk down to the local village which boasts its own golden sandy beach - perfect for kayaking, fishing or just relaxing outside the beachhut (May-Sept).
Cae Mawr can comfortably sleep 8 adults, however, more can be accommodated depending on the set up of certain bedrooms, especially if you are bringing little ones.
Bedroom 1 - master bedroom: super-king bed, bedside tables, large wardrobe, sofa, TV, dressing table and sea views. There is also enough space to fit two travel cots.
Bedroom 2 - twin room: two single beds, bedside tables, TV and sea views. This room can also be set up with 4 single beds utilising the trundle beds stored under the single beds. We can also set this room up as a king-size bed with matching bedding, either with or without the trundle single beds.
Bedroom 3 - en-suite: king-size bed, sofa, TV, dressing table, en-suite bathroom with bath, sink & toilet, sea views from both bedroom and bathroom, wardrobe storage.
Bedroom 4 - ground floor: two small double beds, comfortably sleeps 2 adults and a child, or 4 children sharing, bedside tables and sea view.
Work from holiday!
We have a dedicated office space where you can work if you need to during your stay. You can connect your laptop using dock provided, and we have three large screens, perfect for zoom calls or meetings. It has its own dedicated bathroom and is the quietest space in the house. Please let us know if there's anything else you require, making that working from holiday process a little easier.
Kitchen -
We have a large kitchen perfect for accommodating large groups with everything you could need to prepare your meals. Large American style double fridge, large pull-out freezer, brand new oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and dining table.
Utility -
In our utility room we have an extra fridge (perfect for drinks!), washing machine & tumble drier - ideal for those longer summer stays.
Dining -
Our dining area has a large table, which can seat 8 comfortably (10 with a bit of a squeeze), and is situated in the centre of the house - the perfect social space. It has plenty of extra seating - a 5 seater sofa, 2 occasional chairs, speaker, log burner, door out onto patio with both sea & mountain views.
Lounge -
There is also another large reception room which is perfect as an evening entertainment area. It has plenty of seating, a piano, guitar, TV and sea views. We have a large collection of books you are more than welcome to enjoy. So light the log burner and curl up on one of the armchairs and enjoy some peace.

We spent 3 days over Christmas at the cottage… 8 adults, 3 children, 2 dogs. We often stay in holiday rentals but this was ‘something else’. Very spacious, excellently equipped with lots of lovely touches like ice in the freezer, feather mattress toppers and lovely toiletries

Stayed 4 nights at this lovely house. Great location in the countryside with fabulous views. Good communication from the host.

Everything about the weekend was perfect. The owners have gone above and beyond to make this cottage a home from home with everything you’d expect and more including a lovely little welcome pack on arrival.
The beach hut on nearby Nefyn Beach provided a great base for our family to use on our beach days.
We’d love to visit again - definitely 10/10
