Low hygiene

We stayed late September early October. Large balcony and relatively large accomodation. Free A/C. HostS were easily reachable on WhatsApp. Silent environment.

Everything was filthy and greasy. Kitchen especially. Stools and table on the balcony. Hair in the bed (probably cleaning lady's) and a filthy bed cover which we tossed straight away. Filthy couch in the living room (full of stains). Bread crumbs in the kitchen. Thousand ants on the balcony. Toilet was relatively clean, but not great. No replacement towels nor bedsheets for ten days. If you want new you gotta pay 15e. It is a decent accomodation, but the hygiene is far from decent. There is a 15min climb when coming from the beach, which can be tiresome, especially for elderly, since it is located on a small hill.

A stressful and disappointing stay

This was the worst experience I’ve had using Booking.com. A few key points to consider before booking: A €150 deposit is required to stay at the property. This is mentioned in the instructions, so read carefully — especially if you're not comfortable with a third-party company holding your money. As of today (09/06/2025, 9:00 AM checkout), I still haven’t received any confirmation that the apartment was returned in good condition or that my deposit has been released. If you're traveling with children, be aware they charge an additional €30 for a crib. This is also noted in the instructions, so again — read everything carefully. Considering all of the above, you can easily find similar-priced options without this level of hassle or unclear communication.

Excellent property with stunning views. Truly bad management by Stay BnB company

Excellent property with stunning views from every window. Beautiful balcony with sea view. Bedroom with two giant windows. Absolutely love it. Big thanks to the owner. What we didn't like, Part 1 (2): Negative aspects, well, quite a few and all about Stay BnB Management company. Stay BnB imposes such strict rules, we’ve never seen here in Cyprus, and we rented 8 different properties. Everything is about paying extra fees. And I mean for everything. I will mention just few. You will need to be ready to pay 150 euros Security deposit that can be used in case you fail to follow strict rules. Electricity, apparently, there is a limit. How many watts? Such information nowhere to be found and we got very long and detailed email about all kind of restrictions and possible fines. So, we asked, and we were told that we are allowed to use 130kWh per 8 days stay. For extra we must pay. Is it a lot? I cannot tell, but we were not sure if we can use 2 A/Cs and cook. I asked and was told “No need to worry as the free KWh offered are more than enough to cover the normal use of the property” So, logically I asked the electricity meter reading as of arrival day, I got a reply that I will be informed later. It never happened. No follow up email or a message with picture of the meter. What can be easier? I can be paying for the whole community or previous tenants and not knowing at all. ....

Part 2 (2): A word of advice to Stay BnB: if imposing such strict rules, then you should be fair and transparent. You think thru all kind of rules but fail to be honest and clear. Few days later, I received an email asking me to authorize another 150 euros security deposit (1st went thru and I saw on my Credit card statement). Do not know why. No follow up email with explanations. On a last day when checking out I was asked not to be late or face a fee. Ideally, I was informed, I should let Stay BnB know when I check out. We checked out a bit earlier and I did inform the Firm and I asked to let me know if all ok with property. I wanted to make sure I will not have nasty surprise and be charged for something later. Did I get a response? Nope! Stay BnB is very demanding for their own requests, but irresponsive and indifferent if tenants ask something. Anything. And last, but not least, another word of advice to Stay BnB: All your “Simple” rules ends with explanation point. An exclamation mark usually shows strong feeling, such as surprise, anger or joy. Using an exclamation mark when writing is rather like shouting or raising your voice when speaking. Don’t. It is not polite. Again, love the property, not so much managing of the property. Will I stay there again? For all above negative reasons very much No…

The beds were a bit hard for our liking and the shower water pressure was low.

Хорошее расположение, апартаменты находятся в тихом и спокойном месте, подходят для семьи с детьми. Вид на море, относительно свежий ремонт.

Матрас в спальне нужно поменять, чувствуются пружины. Диван в салоне нужно немедленно выбросить на свалку!!! Обивка вся в пятнах непонятного происхождения, спать можно только на той части которая раскладывается. На другой части дивана спать невозможно, прямо под обивкой поперечная доска впивается в ваш позвоночник. Хотелось бы более качественной уборки апартаментов перед заездом гостей. На полу чувствуется песок под ногами, есть вопросы к чистоте постельного белья. На кухне только две кастрюли, одна совсем маленькая, другая побольше, с ободранным тефлоновым покрытием, сковороды нет, некоторые тарелки с поврежденными краями. Кажется, кому-то самое время съездить в IKEA на Кипре!🙂
