My husband and I live in Portland and had family come from the East Coast to visit. We wanted to show them all around Bend and take advantage of the sunshine in Central Oregon (white water rafting, hiking, concert, etc.)
The location was absolutely incredible, you can’t beat the walkability of the neighborhood, but the home itself was filthy. Dust was caked on every surface, lamp, light fixture, and fan. We turned a bedroom fan on and were showered with piles of dust, who knows the last time this place has had a proper clean. For the price we paid, we were extremely disappointed with the state of the property. Luckily, the location gave us plenty to do once we left.
Not sure if this is a cleaning crew issue, etc., but I would never stay here again or recommend it given how dirty it was. And we’ve stayed in dozens of VRBOs/etc. … disappointing to say the least, especially when bringing family from out of town, some of which have never stayed in a VRBO before.
Also a minor issue, but the microwave light doesn’t work so if you try cooking breakfast early in the morning you’ll need to use the can lights in the kitchen.
