About this apartment rental
Recently renovated in July of 2024, featuring new cabinets, vanities, countertops, appliances, fixtures, doors and painted throughout. Spend your vacation on the beach, at the beautiful Maui Sunset complex, where our lovely, one bedroom condo is located. Take a relaxing stroll through the exceptionally manicured, tropical grounds. Relax in the roomy hot tub or do some laps in the large pool, that is heated in the winter months. Socialize with other grill masters, as you use one of the six, cleaned daily, gas barbecues. Enjoy meals on your lanai, while you capture spectacular sunsets. A five minute walk takes you to the beach, where you can stroll, swim or watch for whales and turtles. The tour desk at the pool can help you with day trip planning. They also rent stand-up paddle boards. Free putters, shuffleboard cues, tennis and pickleball rackets are available at the pool for use on site or at nearby courts. There is a well-equipped gym and lending library.
Our unit is in the A building on the third floor about midway up the property. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and a king size bed in the bedroom. There is a queen sofa bed and a single daybed in the living room. Our unit comfortably sleeps a family of five. There are two bathrooms. One with a tub/shower and one with a shower. We supply board games, beach chairs, beach towels and coolers for your use. WIFI and cable TV are complementary. Two supermarkets are within a twenty minute walk and there are numerous restaurants in the area. Many guests return to the Maui Sunset year after year. You won’t be disappointed!

Another perfect stay at the Maui Sunset! Having stayed at this unit previously, their recent renovation is incredible. Everything feels sparkling new, with a classic tropical vibe. Effortless check in with a coded door lock. Beautiful local artwork on the walls (if you’re lucky, you might find him setting up shop along the beach, and be able to both support local, and bring home an art treasure reminding you of Maui! He even does commissions if you have requests)Nothing to add here as you’ll see from every single perfect review, it’s hard to have a bad stay here! I was here during the back to back Kona low’s that hit the island in March/April. But even with some rain, Kihei was mostly dry, and there was plenty to keep occupied with indoors for a bit. Massive big screen tv with Disney plus, an endless selection of cable tv, a games cupboard with puzzles and board games. Perfect grounds as always, refreshing pool, great hot tub. Always quick communication from hosts, they think of everything so that your time is Maui can be all about you and your holiday. Fully stocked kitchen, blender, rice cooker etc. The BBQs scrubbed and ready for grilling. My only small regret was coming in March/April instead of February when I usually come - whale action is much better in February. I plan to be back soon!

I have stayed in this condo several times and have had wonderful experiences. Everything we needed was there.. even a coffee bean grinder that I found too late!! The host & hostess were amazingly available if there were any concerns. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the BBQs are cleaned each morning. Our holiday was one I shall never forget because of the huge storm and flood that “stole” our light for 28 hours, made S Kihei road a river and made us all thankful for the maintenance crew. Maui Sunset and our condo made for a restful, relaxing and affordable holiday on the ocean front.It was our safe place during a Maui storm!

Place had hair on the floors and tub. Kitchenware really needs to be updated. Pullout bed not in good condition. Need to go elsewhere for the beach. The property beach area was very small and not a place to hangout. Beautiful though.Location was good for travel easy access to travel to other locations on the island. Pool/hot tub were nice and well maintained although their snack area was never open. Friendly staff.
