Kitchen is well equipped, each unit has washer/dryer that is very useful while on trip, neighbors were not noisy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Maui Sunset is an amazing vacation rental. The location is perfect. Perfect for sunset viewing. The pool area was great for the kids. There are other activities like mini golf, tennis/pickleball, and shuffleboard. We stayed in the 1 bedroom with five people and it was nice having the two bathrooms and the laundry available to use. We would absolutely stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maui was our least favorite island out of the Big Island and Oahu and some of that was probably this rental. The property is more like a well worn beach house and it was great to be on the water, but there was also a lot lacking! We had a split trip (because we stayed a night in Hana) and I had spoken with someone from the resort company in order to book the rental, because I was unable to book less than 4 consecutive nights online. Well, when we arrived, no one knew about our split trip. I had confirmed by phone before the trip that we could by-pass the extra cleaning fee if we arrived from Hana at a certain time. No one knew anything about this and the front desk didn't care. I ended up calling 3 different people and had to jump through hoops just to make sure we had our last night here. It was very frustrating and stressful when we should have been enjoying ourselves in Maui. In the end it all worked out, but it was no an ideal situation. Our unit had two AC units, but they both turned off every 4 hours. I understand not wanting folks to run the AC when you're not there, but with 80-90 degree days, we were hot and for the AC to go out at night and have to get up and turn it back on, that was HORRIBLE! We went to the welcome "breakfast" on the first day and I have to say, it's VERY POOR advertisement. It was not breakfast. It was water and a few pieces of pastries. Granted, I'm pregnant and hungry, but I wouldn't consider that breakfast at any time. We renewed our vows for our 5 year anniversary and were trying to iron my dress and my husband's outfit and our iron didn't work. We called the maintenance/housekeeping line and waited over an hour for someone to bring an iron up. When they never came, we called again and finally got it. This place seems like it's for regulars/locals/old folks that have flocked to Maui and never left. It was cheaper than a hotel, but I'm not sure it didn't put Maui at the bottom of our list.
