Needed better pillows for beds

The apartment itself is really nice, a good size, facing the pool which is lovely. The location was perfect for us as we had a car and everything was within ten minutes drive. The underground parking was welcome to keep the car cool during the day.

The beds were awful, extremely noisy metal frames with thin uncomfortable mattresses. I noticed that the pillows did not smell clean and removed the covers to inspect. No pillow protectors and had clearly not been washed or replaced in a long time. They were quite dirty. I purchased new pillows for all of my family as we would not use the ones supplied. The towels provided were like rags so I also needed to purchase towels. The shower including doors and toilet seats were dirty when we arrived. The power went off four times while using the cooker so we stopped cooking and ate out. I would be happy to pay the price I paid if the accommodation were deluxe as advertised but I think it was overpriced on this occasion based on the fact that I had to purchase pillows and towels.
