Private 1-bedroom Guest House with Great Amenities

We just stayed at this magnificent property for a week and it was pure bliss. I can't overstate what a special place this is. Fredric and his wonderful wife were amazing hosts. They could not have been more thoughtful, or generous! The property is in a really beautiful location. It offered the perfect mix of peace and quiet, whilst still being just a short distance from all the many fabulous amenities the area has to offer. We loved the outdoor patio and the beautiful gardens! We had such a wonderful time! We can't wait to return!! Thank you so much, Fredric. We really enjoyed our stay!

A little gem in the middle of wine country.

It couldn't have been any better ! Great beds, towels, the hosts thought of every possible need. We will go back !!

We really enjoyed our stay at this small but very comfortable cottage. So many pros- hard to name them all: Great location just a few mins to downtown. Very peaceful and quiet, beautiful landscaping and almost rural setting with vineyards and very large lots- no neighbors close by except for the owner's house. The 3 car owner's garage blocks views of the owner's house so you have a lot of privacy. Very comfortable mattresses and bedding, comfy sofa and living room furniture, convenient washer and dryer, beautifully decorated. Outdoor seating in small private backyard and access to heated swimming pool. The owner is very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We didn't really cook but everything we would have needed for cooking appeared to be available in the kitchen. Excellent restaurants and a large grocery are also just a few mins away. We took a stunning drive on Dry Creek Road past Lake Sonoma and a dam, over a bridge in the general direction of Sea Ranch on the coast. Also enjoyed a drive on Fitch Mtn Rd past the Russian R and older cottages on the riverfront. The front steps to the cottage felt a little steep if you have bad knees but the back entrance only has one step. Overall, highly recommend and we hope to return!

Such a wonderful stay! Property is meticulously maintained and communication with the owner outstanding. Very private and rural feel but you still benefit from central location to downtown Healdsburg. We definitely recommend!

The property was a lovely home away from home and beautifully decorated! More importantly, it was clean and extra comfortable! Our hosts were so incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your enjoying the stay. If there was an option for 10 stars, I’d surely give them that. Someone previously commented on the internet being slow- we did not have that problem at all! We can’t wait to come back!

This is one of our favorite places to stay for weekend trips for our family trio. We love returning to Fred and Patricia's place because of the space, location (nearby Foss Creek Trail! perfect for biking, walking, running), and privacy. They are generous hosts, and we appreciate all aspects of their property from the pool and eating areas, to the guest houses with its own backyard. Everything feels easy here. Can't recommend enough (as you can see, this is the 2nd round of kudos!).
