Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Shihouse. The location is excellent—very central and within easy walking distance of supermarkets, convenience stores, cafés, and many local attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the room we were assigned. It was on the second floor with a view directly facing the neighbouring building, so we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time for privacy, which made the room feel a bit dark. Cleanliness could also be improved. Most areas were fine, but there was noticeable limescale and dirt buildup behind the toilet seat if you looked closely, suggesting that the deep cleaning could be more thorough. Since we were only staying for a short time, these issues weren't a major problem for us. Overall, we still had a good experience thanks to the great location and the wonderful hospitality of the staff.

Excellent accommodation. We had a lovely river view, lovely friendly staff. 15 minute walk to the Dragon Bridge and 30 minutes to the beach. Rooms were spotless and our room had a washing machine. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. Starbucks a few doors up and lots of grocery stores near by. Fantastic massage place across the street.

Many little ants especially kitchen area. Air conditioning didnt cool enough. Remote television didnt work, seems out of battery. Asked the staff to fix the air conditioning. they tried to check it but they said it maximum already in 18c. We still could sleep just a bit warm then usual.
