Ground Floor Apartment

Everything!! The apartment is in a great location up on the Esplanades. You could see the sea from the bay window in the living room even though we were on the ground floor! I had contacted the host a few days before, asking if it were possible to check in earlier as we were arriving by train 3 hours before check in & We were able to check in earlier than stated which was brilliant as I have arthritis and walk with a stick & my mother in law also uses one and being able to check in early saved us all 3 hours of walking around with our cases! We had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfortable. Spacious, fully integrated kitchen, large living room with a gorgeous bay window. A hairdryer, towels & loo roll all supplied. Free WiFi available. We loved the lamps attached to the shelf units in the living room, so cosy at night! There is a folder in the living room with lots of information about the apartment and recommendations for places to visit and eat. There is a free parking permit as well. The owners were very friendly and helpful as we should have received a check in email with the lock box code to get the keys from booking.com, but we didn’t. I rang Martin & he answered straight away and he told me the code and couldn’t apologize enough. We would definitely stay here again!

Just 1 tiny, tiny thing, as we noticed there was tea coffee and sugar available we made ourselves a cuppa after unpacking but had no milk. We never gave it a thought beforehand that we may need some but would have been nice to maybe have had some milk available for our 1st drink. Then we would have bought some of our own later on when we went out.

Sofa's were very uncomfortable. Beds were too soft for us and no curtains caused early waking.
