About this cabin rental

Brookfield Retreat….. get closer to nature with a cosy stay in our cabin, overlooking our fields of sheep, with two resident donkeys and horse. Enjoy choosing and eating fresh eggs from our very own chickens to have for breakfast on your private decking. Situated in a peaceful hamlet a couple of miles from Knettishall Heath country park. Ideally located for Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and only 2 miles from Thorpe Woodland Adventure Centre.

Just what we wanted

We needed a break in the beautiful countryside with our chocolate labrador, we couldn't have picked a better location. Our hosts were really lovely and they welcomed us on arrival. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and tidy, and is nicely equipped. The rain on the roof was really therapeutic in the night. The fields close by had donkeys, sheep and horses. Our dog was very interested in them all. There were plenty of walks locally, even a fenced paddock. The forests are close by, sadly we didn't meet any bears!! I can fully recommend a stay here and would return as soon as I can get away from work. Huge thank you to Lydia and her lovely family for our stay.
