The Retreat at Dukes Townhouse

The property was within easy reach of all that York has to offer,

There was not anything that we did not like.

We travelled by train and the apartment was only a short walk from the station with easy access in minutes to the town. Shower was powerful and constant hot water. Bed was super comfy and heating was good all round even without the underfloor heating this time of year. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay. Already looking to book again so it is a definite 5 stars form us *****

nothing we loved everything

Everything! It was absolutely spotless. The bath was brilliant. We were delighted with the proximity of the flat to the centre of town & we left the car in the car park for the 3 days & explored everything on foot. We also loved how quiet the area is despite its closeness to the town centre.

Comfortable bed and very homely. Close to York city centre, great location.

Unfortunately the hot water wasn’t working for us which was frustrating as one of the main reasons I booked this stay was because of the bath. The owner of the property came over to resolve this issue and we had hot water for a little bit but it then shut off again.
