Good accommodation for a good price

Good location, 12 minutes by car to the lake, but due to the serpentines and narrow roads it can be a little longer. Convenient large parking. Clean spacious room, and a very cool large terrace. I liked that we had a window in the toilet with a roller blind.

The neighbors were clearly audible.

a hidden gem in valle intelvi

beautiful house nested in the mountains of Intelvi Valley, huge room with spacious shower, fireplace and a stunning terrace. Amalio and his wife and daughter were extremely kind and friendly, they let us use the bathroom and change before the room was even ready at 9 am. silent good location to visit the surrounding of lake como and lake lugano, away from the tourist traps. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

just a suggestion, as our stay was truly perfect: I would add the possibility of a take away breakfast, because there is not much around the property. apart from this, it was a dream. grazie!

Stopover in northern Italy

Great, friendly and heartily welcome from Amalio-landlord even though we came a bit late. He was very helpful, giving us excellent tips regarding the neighborhood-where to eat, shop, what to see and where to go to the beach. Nothing was problem, we were served with a tea and felt like at home. The double room was very clean, spacious for family with two kids and the terrace overlooking the hills was simply marvelous. Great accommodation for affordable price.

The walls of the room were not soundproof enough-there was formidable noise coming from the neighboring room and the extended hall in front of our room, which the other guests used as a meeting lounge.

The room was comfortable with a fantastic view and terrace. Convenient parking just outside the property.

There isn't much around the property, but it's not an issue if you have a car. There's also a nice small local shop nearby.

Perfect stay and host!

We were a family of four. Our aim was to visit lake Como and the surrounding villages. The hotel is ideally localized in a calm village with a breathtaking view. The host is adorable and helpful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The kids enjoyed the playground facing the hotel. It was a perfect stay.

Clean and tidy a good price and beautiful area with the mountains

I was disappointed that we didn't get offered a room that overlooks the mountains. It was the reason I booked it. Avoid room 4 if possible! Rooms 1-3 have an incredible view out onto a grassed balcony. I had requested it a few weeks prior for a room with a view and we weren't the last to check in that night and we never got offered a room with a view, instead someone who came at 11.30pm got priority. Remember choose rooms 1-3.

Super friendly owner Amalio, great contact all the day and at the arrival. Spacious room with a breathtaking view and large terrace! We stayed here only for one night but we will come back. Beautiful and clean place!!

Nothing to do with room which is just perfect but mentioned by many (including owner) Baby Bar had a party and we couldn't eat there :( Because of this party also parking was pretty full and we took the last place after we came back from a dinner at other place. It's also good to mention that road from the Swiss side is quite adventurous and I wouldn't advice to drive it in darkness

Ederarooms host is very nice. I cannot catch the bus, he would help me. He can provide great assistant. The place is perfect for relax. It is better to rent a car if you want to stay there. The bus schedule is around 2-3 hr have a bus. I love here and don't want to leave. Thank you amalio.

Free parking Clean Nice view There is a good family restaurant just in front of the house which allows you to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there. You need a car to stay there because it's in the valley. The price is really good.

Great view, nice rooms, almost died

The value for money is amazing (at least in late september, when we stayed there). We got upgraded to the family room and the terras+view was amazing! Nice modern rooms and spacious parking next door. Amalio was very friendly and a fun host(*see below) The Baby Bar across the street serves italian breakfast and good dinners.

Our stay was without disklikes, if it was not for a very poor recommendation by the host. We drove up the mountain in the dark and rain to a restaurant. We did not realize how tricky/dangerous the roads were, and the restaurant ended up being closed too. We expected more guidance from our host. We are experienced drivers and travellers and we were sweating..

Maybe a bedside table to have some dimmed light would be great. Some traffic noise along street might be disturbing to some when sleeping on that side with Window open. Besides that: great value for money

Wonderful room with a garden and amazing view to the wild valley. Amalio was very friendly and helpful with the nearest locations. Near the room there is "Baby Bar", with good beer that was served with mixed meat and cheese. Highly recomended! Rimma & Ami
